First, there are numerous attachments but no real direction on how to use them for the best results. There was a lot of trial and error to find something that worked. If I used the trimmer without one of the guards it would nick the skin. The attachment for closeup trimming didn't do a good job unless you went over the area numerous times. Finally the on/off button was easily turned on when you changed attachments.

When you rinse this after shower use and then let it dry. Days later there will still be lots of droplets of water that spray out from some crack or crevice on the device. You just have to shake it and it will always release water from somewhere. Never fully dries like other Philips multi groomers I’ve used in the past. I think the water gets under the power button assembly or in/under the stainless steel housing. Makes me think of things like mildew and corrosion going on inside it. 3 days set out for drying still water can he shaken out of it from somewhere. Deeply annoying and poor mechanical design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're getting a trimmer, this is the one. Having a beard, I have gotten a few trimmers over the years. The best being a giant professional corded one- up until now. The test is being able to trim the beard without moving the hairs- think of having a sharp knife blade that can cut a tomato without bending it. This trimmer does that. It cuts through hair like butter- all without a cord! The heads interchange easy - there's several to use for most every occasion. This is the best cordless trimmer I've had by far.

Even if I can't tell, I do not doubt that all of the ads are right and it works great, etc. What they do not say is the big issue here: you have lots of attachments, and a larger head, but just a few of them work on it. Most of the attachments work only with the smaller head, and good luck in finding one good. Apart from one adjustable, since the trimmer itself is not adjustable, you will have a hard time looking for the right piece, and the options are very limited. Also, if you travel, you will have to bring lots of stuff with you for no reason.

1) The product is great - works exceedingly well. 2) The website offers tips for writing reviews, which is really stupid. Stop that. 3) Most importantly, the packaging is 100% plastic. C'mon, Philips. This is 2021. It should be 100% cardboard. You know about renewables like paper, right? Can we stop using plastic for packaging, please?

Seriously?? When you write "Quality Bag" on your packaging, and the customer finds a piece of crap bag inside that is literally made out of landscaping fabric, you only undermine your company's credibility. This is the exact material you buy in a roll at the hardware store to bury in your garden in order to suppress weeds from growing. This will not protect the razor you just invested in, and as other reviewers stated, the razor's power switch will be activated easily while traveling. The box you purchased it with is a better quality case, but wasn't designed to use as one. You will need a better case for the razor and all the extra pieces.

The reason I want to do this is I feel the product will inform me as to optimum use. Thus far when I do only marginal use. This is a good product it’s me who brings the variable to the table.

This shaver needs a redesign for the on/off function, as on many occasions I have heard it turn on in my luggage due to a simple push button on/off switch with no protector. The fact that it is supplied with a soft bag for travel is good from a space allocation perspective, but does not protect the on/off switch from being bumped! The last time this happened, I didn't hear it and it ran until the foil shaver head was worn through.

Their is no product named Philips multi-groomer 9000. If see that at best buy, amazon, xyz... it's norelco-multigroom-7000-face-head-and-body model:MG7770_49. Don't get confused while registering the product as you will not be able to see that 9000 once. Print mistake its... No issues with product, they last longer and this product as 10 years warranty and only think you need to do is have to get the product registered online at philips.com by creating account then click on register my product.
