[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a less expensive battery-operated trimmer before. With this new Phillips set I don't have to worry about the battery going low and changing the battery in the middle of grooming. It charges quickly, fits easy in my hands. With all the attachments it's a complete set up. No messing around with multiple cutters for grooming, and everything fits perfect in the carry case for travel.

Very good solid product. I love it a lot. I ditched my hair clipper and hoped to get much out of this little tool. And it cuts really well too. The only down side is the blade angle is still different than regular clippers. So when you trying to trim the side of your head and try to look at the mirror at the same time, the body of this trimmer is right in the way, so you cannot see much details of the area you are fading.

This razor kit has so many accessories for all trimming needs. The value is having such a variety of trim guides and the bonus of the nose/ear and small razor head really impressed me. I only have one complaint about the razor. The position of the on/off button is inconvenient. Seems that it is exactly where I want to grip the razor and I end up turning it off constantly when I use it. If it was reversed with the grip, it would probably work better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. This unit trims well and does everything it promises. I just wanted something to keep my beard trim. It definitely delivers. Honestly, it might be overkill for what I need but I wanted something that would last. Of course, the answer to that question will only come with time.

The shaver is solid and feels high-end. It cuts very close and is weighted nicely in my hand. I haven't used any guards because I shave my head right down. The charge seems to last me for several shaves of my face and head. The only issue I have with it is that the on off button is in a bad spot. When holding it I keep hitting the button that turns it off because of it's placement. I'm forced to hold the shaver right close to the back of the blade which is harmless but then the shaver isn't balanced properly weight wise in my hand anymore. Maybe that's a user problem, I don't know, but that's why I am only giving 4 stars. Oh, and I like that I can get it wet.

My first product fully plastic lasted me about 6 to 7 years until it's switch was having a contact issue and although it was working I decided to get a new one. It was reasonable value for money considering monthly 1 use. The second one , steel. Body, was a pain to use as the switch would accidentally turn on and off while in hand and battery failed within 2 years. I am using the third one. I am hoping that the team has had enough experience to come up with a quality switch and battery product to last years with my occasional use. In 1980s and 1990s Philips was perceived as a brand that stands for simple high quality products. The effort needs to be directed at maintaining that

My main concern with this device is the placement of the power on/off button. The device has a nice non-slip black rubber pad for the thumb or index finger, but right under that pad is is an extremely sensitive power switch, which I find is extremely easy to touch when using the device. There is also no nice container, other than a small bag, to hold all the many attachments.

I like the feel of this in my hand. I didn’t give it a 5 star as the on/off button is in a spot where you grip the razor and I have accidentally turned it off while using, as other reviewers have mentioned. I like the attachments that come with it—a good selection. The different heads come off easily and are easy to clean. The pouch that comes with it is pretty pathetic and it does seem as if it was made out of landscape fabric as one reviewer has written.

I bought this product for hair cut during COVID-19 pandemic, where barbershops were closed and social distancing are enforced. I used the product once. It is pretty easy to use. The reason I bought Philip product is because I trust that Philip is a well-known, good quality brand. I once bought Philip beard trimmer 25 years ago, and I still use it today like a new, only replaced the rechargeable battery once.

During Pandemic, my husband & I made this purchase. We gave each other haircuts. It cuts very well. Used some of the hair attachments only. Does an excellent job in that department. Fits nicely in the hand. Heads click on & off easily. Did not use all the other attachments at this time. Would highly recommend this product.
