This trimmer/shaver doesn't work all that well. The battery doesn't last as long as advertised, the shave isn't closed, the nose and ear trimmer attachment doesn't seem to work at all, and every couple of minutes, I accidentally turn it off because the power switch is where my thumb wants to be. All around poor design.

The only problem I have with this product is the on off switch. Would of been, in my opinion better to have it out of the way. I find I hit the switch often when using the shaver. Other then that quite happy with the battery life and the quality of it.

The multigroom 7000 series from Phillips is a tough, reliable and comprehensive hair grooming product. Have used heavy bulky grooming devices that have not lasted very long. This grooming device is light, durable, well designed and with the multple heads provides one product for such a variety of functions. I would highly recommend the Phillips Multigroom series.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this S9000 Phillips shaver because I have always loved my Phillips shavers since the first one I bought in 1955. This Phillips shaver does its job faster than any one I have had yet but it still leaves my face feeling smooth and fresh yet with no uncomfortable irritation at all. I love it!

Very long battery life between charges. I can use it once a week to trim my beard and not have to charge it for a month or 2. Very strong motor and sharp teeth that cut easy through thick hair. On/off button though is in a place where you want to rest your thumb so I inadvertently shut it off a couple of times each cutting session. Must use an attachment over areas of loose skin or wrinkles since teeth are very sharp and if device isn't at a perfect angle it will cut through the skin and make it bleed.

This is an amazing full body groomer from all the different combs to the beautifully designed sturdy body and the long run time. The only item that could make this the undeniably best groomer on the market is having a full face razer. This is not a deal breaker as I would definitely buy this unit again just the way it is.

The Multigroom 9000 is fantastic. I have used it approximately 7 times so far on one charge. It is still going strong. Customer service is great. When I received the shaver, one of the 2 mm guards had a bent tooth from factory. I called Philips and within 15 minutes, the rep stated that another one will be sent out. I received the new guard within 5 days. The attachments are well built. The only negative that I can say is that I wish the foil shaver was a little wider,it is only 3/4 in wide. For those of you out there that are wondering, (like I did), you can use the two of the attachments to clean up the sensitive area down south. The unit itself is very quiet and has a nice weight to it. The nose and ear attachment works great. There are so many attachments that I will never use half of them but I can see this satisfying a wide variety of customers with different needs. I am very pleased with this unit.

I wanted an all in one wireless solution for face, body, hair. Was attracted by the solid construction, great battery power and warranty. It has all the accessories and lengths I might need. Battery seems to have great autonomy. What I don't like so much is the design of the start button which can be easily pressed during operation. Can also start itself in a luggage or bag. Some bits of hair do manage to get inside, where the rotor is. That zone is lubricated and hard to clean. Also, the flaps that keep the blade attached don't strike me as very sturdy, but I hope they last because I do change the blades often. Then again, there's the 5 year warranty which is encouraging. All in all, I am very pleased with it. I would have taken half a star from my 5 start rating, just for the button start/stop thing. But I got it for a pretty good price which together with the warranty (did I mention it's 5 years?) and all the features makes up for a very good buy!

I say this product is great so far because I have used it only three times but I am very pleased. I find the unit is well balanced which gives me a confident control of the clipper as I cut my own hair. Honestly, two more cuts and it will already have paid for itself. Of course I am hoping for a lot more.
