My cat has been turning his nose up and not eating! I thought he was sick. I've been feeding him Kit & Kaboodle for probably 8 years. I thought maybe the bag was old and I purchased a smaller bag. He is just NOT liking it anymore. What ever they did it was not good. He started last year not liking it. I don't know what brand to try next but this is very disappointing. I'm Sad about this

My cats won't eat. I came here to see if there was a recall. Haha - no, it seems you changed the food. Why?! Both my cats refuse to eat it. What do I do now? Your ratings below WERE 5 stars across the board (quality, value, pet acceptance) but now I give it a 1 for everything and looks like I need to find a different food. You customers (THE CATS) are telling you to switch back.

Negative reviews - the more, the merrier until Purina addresses this very significant issue of continuing to sell a new product under an old name that cats are not only refusing to eat, but are physical incapable of eating because they can't hold the new size and shape in their mouth long enough to chew it! We have 3 4-week-old kittens weaning to solid foods in addition to 4 grown cats and they're all STARVING because they won't eat the once-loved food. I'm glad it Only took us 24 hours to realize WHY they all kept crying and not eating the food and we had backup. Even my dog won't eat it and he eats EVERYTHING!

After years my cats all of the sudden refuse to eat this anymore. While looking to see if they changed the recipe I came across 2 statements that were totally contradicting made by Purina. I'd like to know which one to believe. " While we made a slight change to the recipe, we would not expect this to result in your cat refusing to eat this product" and "Please know that we have not made any changes to the formulation of our Kit & Kaboodle foods, so your experience is unusual."

My cat loves to eat but when I bought and opened up my recent purchase of Kit and Kaboodle he refused to eat it. I do not know why. I bought a 16lb bag now I had to buy him a new feed that he can eat. I thought because it is Purina the food will be better and high quality but I got disappointed that it was rejected by my Cat. Then I read reviews with the same experience as mine. Cat suddenly rejects this new bag of food. Something might have happened with their mixture.

I feed the neighborhood cats, they've always eaten K&K. However, the last 23 lb bag didn't go. I thought maybe it was just that particular bag. Had I know that the recipe has changed, I would NEVER have accepted the last Chewy delivery of 7 bags!! Even the neighborhood POSSUM left it in the bowl. :( VERY expensive lesson.

I am so disappointed! My indoor and outdoor stray cats have always loved Kit & Kaboodle but I bought a 30 lb bag a month ago and they didn't seem to go for it anymore. I ended up feeding it to the wild animals (raccoons, foxes and opossums). I bought another bag thinking the other bag was bad for some reason. Now they won't eat it again. I don't know what you did to the recipe but I hope you decide to change it back. On to another brand.

I see by the recent reviews that there HAS been a change in formula; we have an extremely finicky 9 year old cat who ONLY eats Original Kit & Kaboodle, and the most recent 38lb purchase is going uneaten; he is currently on a starvation strike as I buy small boxes of all types of cat food, hoping he will eat SOMETHING; what were you thinking? I will say that your Kitten Chow has always been a hit with our cats, so I am not against your brand, just this change without notification (i.e. new formula! on the packaging); I would not have invested in a 38lb bag, and tried a small box/bag to see how he would react to it first

I don't know what you have done to the formula but my poor barn cats are starving themselves rather than eat it. I thought they would get hungry enough eventually but they went for straight days without touching it before I finally bought something else for them. Even the possums were not coming and cleaning it out of their bowls at night. This has always been their favorite food, please change it back, whatever you have done is terrible.

My cat has been eating Only kit kaboodle for years, and now he won't eat it. I bye the big bags and I noticed the last serving of my old bags was a lighter color than the product In the new bag. Well I have tried twice now for my cat to eat from the new bag and he won't even nibble on it. Something is wrong. Went today to find a new kind of cat food that I hope he will like.
