I have 15 barn cats. I purchase several bag of kit & kaboodle at a time. When I opened the first bag looked same as always, other 3 where darker in color and pieces where smaller. Didn't give it much thought till the cats refuse to eat. Unsure what was changed. Now trying other brands so my cats don't starve themselves. Will not recommend anymore.

Not sure what happened but the last 16 lb bag that I purchased for my cats this month they would not eat. If it had been just one cat not eating it I would have figured they were being finicky - but all 4 of my cats refused to eat it. It also looked different from every other bag ever purchased - My cats have been eating and loving it for 4 years.

I have 4 cats that have been eating kit & Kaboodle for many years. They refuse to eat it now. i even sourced 2 different lots to see if there was a bad batch. I suspect a material substitution was implemented for production cost savings. Who knows for sure, but something changed.

My cat loves to eat but when I bought and opened up my recent purchase of Kit and Kaboodle he refused to eat it. I do not know why. I bought a 16lb bag now I had to buy him a new feed that he can eat. I thought because it is Purina the food will be better and high quality but I got disappointed that it was rejected by my Cat. Then I read reviews with the same experience as mine. Cat suddenly rejects this new bag of food. Something might have happened with their mixture.

We have been buying Kit & Kaboodle for over 10 years! I bought a bag 2 weeks ago & my cats have refused to eat it! At first I thought something was wrong with my cat but after a clean bill of health from our vet & checking their food I've noticed that the food is smaller in size & a different color! Please do away with this change!

What changed from the old recipe? I bought three new 38lb bags within the last few weeks. None of my cats (indoor cat and strays) will eat it! What am I supposed to do with this food?! I can't afford to waste my money. I think the raccoons ate it but I didn't buy it to feed the wildlife.

I purchased a bag back in December & upon emptying it into the storage container, instantly noticed the food looked & smelled different. I have fed this to my outside & feral cats years now, but they turned their noses up when I fed them from that bag. In January, I had a friend give me a bag of K&K & the food looked the way it always had. My cats were back to being happy & so was I. Turns out, that was an old bag. I realized this after noticing the bag I purchased today looked different, just like the one had back in December & talking with my friend, who told me the bag they gave me was one they had purchased a few months back. After doing some research online, turns out I'm not the that has noticed this change. Now I, like so many others have some very unhappy, hungry cats. Unfortunately the stores are closed now, so I'll have to go to the store in the morning & find another brand they like. This is so frustrating!!

Our cats have been eating this food for years - we have four indoor and also feed an outdoor colony. We bought a new bag and noticed the food looked darker and the pieces seem smaller. We actually dug the bag out of the trash to double-check it hadn't expired or we didn't accidentally grab the wrong kind, because none of the cats would eat it. I've added wet food and two of the cats ate some of the dry food, but the rest are still not interested and ate around the dry food to avoid it. The fact that the food we put outside is also untouched - by cats, raccoons, squirrels, skunks: NOTHING WILL EAT THIS WILLINGLY - suggests this manufacturing, ingredient, or formula change has drastically impacted the food. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND ANYMORE. I have to question, why are all these animals avoiding it? Our cat who was feral and literally ate garbage won't touch it.

My inside cat was never fussy about her cat food, but this change to Kit & Kaboodle, which is the only cat food she has ever eatten, is not good. She will just sit and look at it. Why did you change the recipe? Will you be going back to the "original" original recipe?

I feed the neighborhood cats, they've always eaten K&K. However, the last 23 lb bag didn't go. I thought maybe it was just that particular bag. Had I know that the recipe has changed, I would NEVER have accepted the last Chewy delivery of 7 bags!! Even the neighborhood POSSUM left it in the bowl. :( VERY expensive lesson.
