Did you change the ingredients, my cats now wont eat it after 8 yrs of feeding this to them. Mad that i spent the money on this food, looks freeze dryed and dehydrated - just gross in comparison to the previous bag i had purchased almost a month ago.

I understand Purina is a for profit company. Obviously, Purina must have found a way to cut corners on Kit & Kaboodle to increase profit margin. But the result, and clearly I am not alone, is my cat now refuses to eat. I have had my cat for over 8 years. All she has ever eaten is Original Kit & Kaboodle. She will not eat any other cat food. I would have been willing to pay a bit more for the old recipe instead of having a cat who refuses to eat. I don't understand the bag design. It says "original" but it is a new formula. This is clearly misleading to anyone who purchases the product and should be redesigned. Please return to the old original formula.

My cat loves to eat but when I bought and opened up my recent purchase of Kit and Kaboodle he refused to eat it. I do not know why. I bought a 16lb bag now I had to buy him a new feed that he can eat. I thought because it is Purina the food will be better and high quality but I got disappointed that it was rejected by my Cat. Then I read reviews with the same experience as mine. Cat suddenly rejects this new bag of food. Something might have happened with their mixture.

I see by the recent reviews that there HAS been a change in formula; we have an extremely finicky 9 year old cat who ONLY eats Original Kit & Kaboodle, and the most recent 38lb purchase is going uneaten; he is currently on a starvation strike as I buy small boxes of all types of cat food, hoping he will eat SOMETHING; what were you thinking? I will say that your Kitten Chow has always been a hit with our cats, so I am not against your brand, just this change without notification (i.e. new formula! on the packaging); I would not have invested in a 38lb bag, and tried a small box/bag to see how he would react to it first

The new recipe for Kit & Kaboodle Dry Cat is too different for my cats and me. They are not eating it. The pieces are smaller, and the favor must be different. My cats loved the old recipe. I do not think that I am getting my money's worth either. I had two containers which I filled to the brim, using the old recipe 30-pound bag. The new recipe 30-pound bag doesn't fill the two containers. It only fills to about 2-1/2 inches below the brim of each container. With the smaller pieces, I ended up using more dry cat food to eat the cats. I am very upset about this change. With the old recipe, I had cat food that cats loved, and I felt that I was getting my money's worth. I am going to have to find a new dry cat food for my 18 cats.

We have fed our two cats kit and kaboodle for years...last couple days, they have been hounding us to be fed...I noticed today a different shape to one of the bits...thought it may be that, went to this site and see I am not the ONLY one who cannot feed their cat this crap

I have 4 cats that have been eating kit & Kaboodle for many years. They refuse to eat it now. i even sourced 2 different lots to see if there was a bad batch. I suspect a material substitution was implemented for production cost savings. Who knows for sure, but something changed.

My two cats have eaten Kit& Kaboodle for years. In the past 2 months, they both have become sick with vomiting, bloated stomach, wheezing and coughing. My 16 year old cat lost ~1lb per week. She went from ~10lb to 5.2lb before she died about 3 weeks ago. My 2nd cat is about 8 years old and he has been wheezing and an enlarged stomach. He had a shot of steroid about 3 weeks ago and did not get better. It just occurred to me that may be the food. I have read several reviews on multiple sites with similar experiences. My cats have been indoors for several months. No other changes have occurred in our household. The only common denominator is the food.

My inside cat was never fussy about her cat food, but this change to Kit & Kaboodle, which is the only cat food she has ever eatten, is not good. She will just sit and look at it. Why did you change the recipe? Will you be going back to the "original" original recipe?

I've wasted 2 30 lb bags of cat food thinking the first one was just off. Nope! Our 5 cats won't touch it and keep crying for food! I can no longer buy your product. You should offer compensation and bring back the old formula. You are loosing business! We've used Putin's products for years. Very disappointed. How many complaints do you need before your company takes notice. You should of notified your customers that there was a new formula. Do better!
