The cats we feed are our neighbors but when she broke her thigh bone my husband started feeding them and now they are at our front door at 7 AM and 630 PM

This is probably the best deal in cat food, probably because it doesn't sell well because cats don't like them. My house cats prefer meow mix, but this works for feral cats.

I see by the recent reviews that there HAS been a change in formula; we have an extremely finicky 9 year old cat who ONLY eats Original Kit & Kaboodle, and the most recent 38lb purchase is going uneaten; he is currently on a starvation strike as I buy small boxes of all types of cat food, hoping he will eat SOMETHING; what were you thinking? I will say that your Kitten Chow has always been a hit with our cats, so I am not against your brand, just this change without notification (i.e. new formula! on the packaging); I would not have invested in a 38lb bag, and tried a small box/bag to see how he would react to it first

What changed from the old recipe? I bought three new 38lb bags within the last few weeks. None of my cats (indoor cat and strays) will eat it! What am I supposed to do with this food?! I can't afford to waste my money. I think the raccoons ate it but I didn't buy it to feed the wildlife.

The new recipe for Kit & Kaboodle Dry Cat is too different for my cats and me. They are not eating it. The pieces are smaller, and the favor must be different. My cats loved the old recipe. I do not think that I am getting my money's worth either. I had two containers which I filled to the brim, using the old recipe 30-pound bag. The new recipe 30-pound bag doesn't fill the two containers. It only fills to about 2-1/2 inches below the brim of each container. With the smaller pieces, I ended up using more dry cat food to eat the cats. I am very upset about this change. With the old recipe, I had cat food that cats loved, and I felt that I was getting my money's worth. I am going to have to find a new dry cat food for my 18 cats.

Our cats have been eating this food for years - we have four indoor and also feed an outdoor colony. We bought a new bag and noticed the food looked darker and the pieces seem smaller. We actually dug the bag out of the trash to double-check it hadn't expired or we didn't accidentally grab the wrong kind, because none of the cats would eat it. I've added wet food and two of the cats ate some of the dry food, but the rest are still not interested and ate around the dry food to avoid it. The fact that the food we put outside is also untouched - by cats, raccoons, squirrels, skunks: NOTHING WILL EAT THIS WILLINGLY - suggests this manufacturing, ingredient, or formula change has drastically impacted the food. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND ANYMORE. I have to question, why are all these animals avoiding it? Our cat who was feral and literally ate garbage won't touch it.

After years my cats all of the sudden refuse to eat this anymore. While looking to see if they changed the recipe I came across 2 statements that were totally contradicting made by Purina. I'd like to know which one to believe. " While we made a slight change to the recipe, we would not expect this to result in your cat refusing to eat this product" and "Please know that we have not made any changes to the formulation of our Kit & Kaboodle foods, so your experience is unusual."

I feed the neighborhood cats, they've always eaten K&K. However, the last 23 lb bag didn't go. I thought maybe it was just that particular bag. Had I know that the recipe has changed, I would NEVER have accepted the last Chewy delivery of 7 bags!! Even the neighborhood POSSUM left it in the bowl. :( VERY expensive lesson.

Got a new cat she had been eating this food. After looking at the ingredients. This is nothing but garbage. Cats cannot digest grains. Seriously look it up, if your food has any grains in it or does not say grain-free find new food. This causes cancers and diseases in cats.

We have a 10 year old indoor cat I have bought this kitten caboodle's for the last 10 years. A few weeks ago I bought a new bag and he just sniffed it I noticed it was different than the other bags I bought. So I bought a second bag thinking the first bag was no good and it is the same thing he refuses to eat it. And I don't know what to do, as he is a very finicky cat. Please go back to the regular food. Now I have 26 pounds of cat food, and don't know what to do with it.
