This is not the salt you think it is. Morton is selling low-quality pellets with rocks/dirt/debris in them at the warehouse stores that will build up and clog your water softener. Below are pictures of the dirt and discoloration of the salt bought from Sams. I also bought the crystals months ago with 1-2" rocks in the bag. The other picture is of the bright white uniform shaped pellets bought from Walmart for $9. I had to empty my brine tank twice and clean all of the valves on my water softener and I can only imagine what it's doing to the resin in the tank. ADVICE: Pay the extra $2 and get the clean salt elsewhere. Go with Diamond if you need to and avoid the dishonest Morton company trying to eke out margin on an inferior product.

Works like it should in my water conditioning system.

Have never seen a lower price for this anywhere else

Morton salt bags are very thin. Usually develop a leak by the time I get the bag to the softener

Best price in town. Clean salt.

A must have for hard water

4lbs more per bag & lower price than Home Depot

Great product great price

The last couple times that we purchased this item, the salt was all crumbled and powdery. This creates a problem in the water softener tank.

Works great in our water softener, and lasts a really long time. I even like the handles on the bag, for easy carrying. Good price, too.
