The Q80D is a Great TV. The 50" is only 60Hz Refresh Rate if you want 120Hz I would go 55" or larger. The picture is great. The first thing I would do is turn off intelligent mode for better picture control. Remote is easy to use and charge. I have been using this TV for a month and it is the best that I have ever had. It does have a few downsides. The home screen looks nice however even in 2024 the Tizen OS still feels sluggish to me. Speakers are great for a TV this size but if used in a large room, I would suggest a soundbar or Sound System setup as well. Overall I love the TV.

Navigation with Samsung TV is terrible. I can’t find out how to add new apps to the programming so I added Roku, which helps a little bit, but it should be a lot easier than this. Watching programs with Samsun app is annoyingl because it has way too many commercials. They took a great tv and ruined it. Would not buy again

So far the TV has been great. The picture quality is better then picture quality of most the show I stream. The only downside is that I bought the 65 inch, I should of bought the 75. I do think that televisions in general have nice pictures. Its the broadcasting that lacks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV rocks! I upgraded to the Q80D from an older model and wow, what a difference! The picture quality is incredible. Quantum HDR+ really makes everything look so lifelike, with vibrant colors and amazing detail. Even in dark scenes, you can see everything clearly. I'm a big gamer, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes a huge difference. No more motion blur, even in fast-paced games. And the sound is awesome too! Dolby Atmos creates this immersive experience that makes you feel like you're right in the middle of the action. A couple of things to keep in mind: * Viewing angles: It looks best when you're sitting right in front of it. If you're off to the side, the picture isn't quite as good. * Glare: I have it in a pretty bright room, and sometimes there's a bit of glare on the screen. Overall: Despite those minor things, I absolutely love this TV! It's a huge upgrade from my old one, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing 4K experience.

After hours of research and reading countless reviews I chose the Q80D and I can't be happier!! This was the largest tv I've ever purchased but the quality and color from this TV is amazing!! It will need calibration to get the best picture quality, so keep that in mind. Don't hesitate to purchase if this tv is on your list.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in awe of the picture quality this TV provides. The colors are so bright and vivid. The picture is clear, and crisp and truly gives a unique experience. It almost feels real with the way the pictures move and how you can see all of the little details down to fine lines. I love how the brightness adjusts automatically to give the best picture quality even in the daytime. The solar remote lasts forever as far as power goes and connection to smart things via my Samsung phone was seamless. There are SO many different apps and options that I haven't even gone through half yet. I am utterly amazed at how well this TV is set up. I hope to be able to get a larger version soon.

It was nice to move up to a larger screen but I was a bit disappointed with the rich color that it promised, and that it didn’t have a 3.5 mm output for sound, and that it did get louder and softer by itself. I did fix the audio output for my wife’s headset but had to give up the soundbar that used the optical connection. I fixed the audio by resetting it and I suppose the depth of color will improve as I fiddle with it. I’m sure a newer soundbar with HDMI will work using the eARC. Never understood why new technology can’t accommodate older peripherals.
