I'm here to join the chorus of folks who are wondering what you've done to your long-standing, trusted product. I immediately noticed the difference. The scent is stronger for sure, but the 100% deal breaker for me is the almost waxy feeling this leaves on my skin. Gone is the creamy texture I've come to expect for AGES. So frustrating when companies try to "sell" their customers on a "new formula" that simply is no longer worth buying. :(

I am so disappointed in the new formula. This lotion is my go-go to for myself and my kids. I do not like any other lotion. I loved the old formulas mild smell and loved the moisturizing quality. This new formula is terrible. It smells of musty old dishcloth. It dries sticky. I feel like it doesn’t moisturize anything. I don’t know what to buy now but I won’t buy this unless they go back to the old formula.

Bring back the original! The new version is not at all improved, and in fact, it smells rather like a rotten muskrat. Why did you exchange the gentle, pleasing, soft smell of the original for something so strong and pungent? I will not be buying this product again even though I used the original for well over forty years.

It smells great, has a smooth consistency and doesn’t feel greasy. It absorbs easily into the skin and keeps my babies’ skin moisturized. I love the large bottle with the pump!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion: I’m no stranger to Johnson and Johnson baby products, but I usually only use the body washes and not so much the lotions. This may be the first of the lotions that I more than tolerated on both myself and the babies. The scent isn’t overwhelming or too strong. It does have that baby scent like powder fresh etc and it is nice. The lotion itself goes on soft, absorbs well into skin, doesn’t leave any residue or stickiness. Didn’t irritate my babies sensitive skin. Would definitely recommend this lotion from the Johnson line above the others.

I like the old formula. The new one has so much perfume. I'm alergic to perfume. It is also thin and runny. The original has worked for so many years why change it. If I find the original, I will use it otherwise I will search for something else that will work for me. I have it on now and the perfume is overwhelming.

Dear Johnson’s….YOUR NEW FORMULA IS COMPLETE TRASH!!! I’m a life long user of your original formula, but you guys GOT IT WRONG big time with this new formula. Probably a way to save a buck on your end, but you’ll lose two bucks on the consumer end. Way to go. Big mistake. Bring back the original formula.

I have used Johnson’s baby soaps and lotions on all of my children because I liked the smell the best. I thought the feel of the products was good and my babies were so soft. I bought the new formula and it is awful. My son’s skin is noticeably drier. And the new scent is horrendous. I am really sad because I can no longer use this product and the smell of my babies is gone.

Makes me nostalgic. It feels really good on the skin and absorbs pretty fast. I also like to use it on myself from time to time. Also just love the pink look it’s so cute.
