Lotion sucks

I am very disappointed with the new formula it feels sticky it doesn't smell good i don't like the way it feels on my skin, why did they change the formula

Please Return to Previous Formula

Please bring back the previous formula. The current Johnson & Johnson Baby Lotion (pink bottle, as of August 2026) feels waxy, doesn't absorb as well, and has an unpleasant scent compared to the original. The old formula was much better. Thanks!

Smelly

Not a fan of the new smell. It is terrible. My husband compared it to melting plastic. I feel it has a chemical smell to it. We will not be purchasing this product any longer unless the smell is adjusted.

Scent change is disappointing

I have been using this lotion for many years. I bought a new bottle and found the scent has changed. It is way too flowery. Please bring back the original scent. I will not be purchasing this product again unless the original scent returns.

We’re glad you noticed our new improved lightweight formula that offers up to 72 hours of moisturization! It was a priority to upgrade and revolutionize the scent of our baby lotion. The new fragrance has similar iconic scent notes including rose, musk, and powdery, but is milder and more comforting than the current scent. We made this change with consumers in mind and conducted testing that the new scent is more loved than the previous scent! We appreciate your feedback and have passed it along to the appropriate team.

Horrible new formula. It leaves a weird greasy feeling on my skin after I apply it. The scent is not as pleasant as the original scent either. Won't be purchasing it again.

Terrible idea.

I hate the texture and the scent. I loved the original product & long lasting scent. It was light, not sticky as this one and scent was like no other product, now that's changed. I definitely WILL NOT be buying your products ag as in.

Not a baby scent

I’ve used J&J for over 40 years through all the color and scent changes but this new aloe Vera scent is so horrible that I have switched to an off brand baby lotion. There is nothing “baby” about this new scent.

Horrendous new formula

Terrible new formula in every way! At least let us have the original fragrance. It was classic. Now it has a weird perfume, smell, and a sticky texture. Please leave well enough alone. It was fine the way it was!

Favorite for years

Johnson's baby lotion has been a favorite for years. It makes my skin so soft without being greasy or heavy. It's sinks right in to the skin. It lasts all day.
