I have used this product for over 25 years even as an adult. I can tell that the formula has changed. The new formula will not absorb and rub in. You look white for a while until you finally get it rubbed in. The smell has also changed and it is not as fresh with the Johnson’s smell we used to have. I purchased three separate bottles from different places hoping to get the old formula or hoping the first was old or a mistake. Can you all please bring back the original formula. I will be looking for a new lotion.

So very disappointed! Why did you change Johnson’s Baby Lotion??? I noticed when I bought my latest bottle that the packaging was different, I just assumed it was a marketing thing, but the lotion inside was different as well. Nothing like I have been buying for years. It’s a different color, which I could live with, but it has a completely different smell! I liked the original much, much better. If this is going to be the new Johnson’s Baby Lotion I will no longer be purchasing this lotion. After using many, many years I will be buying a different brand. Very, very disappointing!

Similar to what some others have said, I’ve been using this baby lotion for more than 20+ years, even as an adult and this new formula makes me want to explore other options in the market. The reasons I’ve used this lotion for decades - how easy it gets absorbed, non-sticky/oily feeling after absorption, the smell - are now all gone in this new formula! It took me wayyyy too long to get it rubbed in and that’s that I’m an adult, if this product is actually for babies, I can’t imagine rubbing this into my son’s skin for as long as I had to rub it into mine. It also now has a rubbery smell that is not the one I know and love. Change the formula back! Don’t fix what’s not broken.

I’ve been using Johnson and Johnson Baby Lotion for decades and have always loved it…until now. The “new” formula takes twice as long to rub in and it doesn’t have the same smell. PLEEEEEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!! I don’t understand why a company would tinker with something that was so good already!!! :(

But it has been especially nice to introduce this lotion to my granddaughter and great granddaughter. My granddaughter keeps commenting about how smooth and soft the baby's skin is. For us, who have used it for years, we know how great it is for baby's skin.

I have been using J&J Baby Lotion (pink) for 50+ years. I have used it on myself and my daughter who is now 18 and still uses it. She had mild eczema on her legs and arms, and this lotion did not bother her skin. It also smelled terrific before! WHY, WHY, WHY did you change the formula? It smells AWFUL now and is just not the same. So disappointed and will not purchase again as the new smell is irritating. Why would you attempt to fix something that was not broken? Uggghhh. Please consider changing back to the original formula.

Glad to know I am not the only one who HATES the new formula. I have used your product head to toe for over 35 years. First the original.. then the lotion with aloe which was amazing... that got discontinued... then you changed the lids... hate the pumps as well. Need to go back to the screw on lids.. so much better. I mean if you want to have a new lotion make a new lotion.. don't change the staple.. the original. It is horrible.. I can no longer use it on my face.. it is way to oily. I look like a mummy waiting for it to soak in on the rest of my body... and the smell... not even close to what it used to smell like. So disappointed... PLEASE bring back the original formula!!!! New one SUCKS!!!

I mean, you can’t really mess with the OG, right? I always keep a bottle of this good stuff in my son’s diaper bag. You never know when you might need it and I love the smell and the convenience of having it in a travel size for this busy mom on the go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing you notice is the wonderful smell!! It is so gentle on her skin. I can apply it over and over. It’s even good on her face. I tried it on mine because I have rosacea and it didn’t burn at all and all others do. So gentle!! It’s not greasy or oily at all. It rubs right now and feels so silky.

I have been buying and using Johnson’s Baby Lotion for decades. I especially liked the Aloe one but went back to the regular pink one. All of the sudden in the past year or so I noticed my skin, face, and hands being tacky a few hours after use. This must be the coconut oil you added to the lotion. I have bought my last bottle.
