I have been using J&J baby lotion for over 35 years and I cannot believe the new unpleasant scent. I was relieved to see other people didn’t like it also ; it’s almost sweet but spoiled. Please figure out a way to bring the original scent back and keep it safe for babies and adults.

New formula is watery and does not hydrate. I have gone through one large bottle of the new And not improved baby lotion only to notice my hands, feet and skin dry out. Poor quality . What to do. Maybe Johnson and Johnson can recommend another product,.. A very long time customer of Johnsons baby lotion,....SO VERY DISAPPOINTED. Also, I do not have children but had to make a selection on how many, otherwise this comment would not post.

I used JOHNSON & JOHNSON products when my kids were babies and they just keep coming up with new products and scents... I especially used the baby lotion because it smelled like a new baby should... I was also pretty amazed how they made the baby shampoo tearless it's brilliant... I still use the baby lotion until this day and I love it!!!

When I met my Husband in 1979, I laughed because he used Johnson’s Baby lotion. It’s 2019 and he still uses it and i’ve come to love the smell and expect it. Well with the change of packaging also came a change of smell. WHAT happened and WHY. We were both like ugggh. It’s just not the same and we are both extremely disappointed

I have been using the original Johnson's Baby Lotion since I was 16, and I am now 49. That's 33 years!!! I have always been impressed by this product until now! My daughter started using this lotion as a moisturizer for her face because she has extreme acne and it was the ONLY moisturizer that didn't make her break out. We ran out of lotion and my daughter asked me to buy some because the whole family uses it (I HAVE EIGHT CHILDREN, THEY ALL USED AND ENJOYED THE PRODUCT UNTIL THE NEW FORMULA CAME OUT) I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED to find they had taken the original formula off the shelf, but I still bought the new one trusting that it would work as well as the original had. My daughter came to me and informed me that the new lotion I had just bought her was WRONG and it had INSTANTLY given her a migraine and made her throat raw. I asked each of my kids to try the new lotion and they all said the exact same thing!! I am not sensitive to smells, but this new smell managed to give, even me, a strong headache and a raw throat!!! They may as well have changed the name of the product and put a WARNING sign on the front of the bottle telling users that it was, in fact, NOT THE SAME!!!!!!! I would understand if they had just changed some ingredients to make it more natural and gentle on the skin... but changing the smell was COMPLETELY and ENTIRELY UNCALLED FOR!!! We can't use this product anymore as a family because of the changes that have occurred. I am DEEPLY SADDENED because now I don't know what to used! I have been praying PROFUSELY for my daughters acne to clear, but now she has to find a new moisturizer that will work for her and probably go through long periods of time with major breakouts trying to find a new product. I WILL NOT and CANNOT buy this product anymore because of the adverse affects it is having on my family! Does anyone remember the Original Coca-Cola and the New Coca-Cola scandal?? This is exactly the same thing!!! I hope we will not be left disappointed like we were with that product... I have been a literal lifelong baby lotion user. People associates it's smell with me. I was pleasantly surprised when they switched to the more natural version, but the last 6 bottles I've purchased, and 2 randomly last year do not absorb into my skin. It leaves a white layer on the top of my skin (it will eventually absorb if you rub and rub and rub), but I have started just wiping it off. I had been hopeful I just got some 'bad batches' but it has consistently been this way.

I have been using the baby lotion for over 20 years!! Why did you guys change the scent?? There was nothing wrong with the original scent.. maybe you guys should add the new scent as an option and keep the original scent for those who still love that one..why vic something that's not broke...please being back the original scent!! I do not want to use baby magic!! I want to stick with Johnson's baby original scent..over 20 years is too long to be switching lotions...bring it back
