I've been using this product for decades, and the latest formula change in 2025 has forced me to change brands. I realize they are decreasing ingredients, but this new formula smells different, doesn't absorb into skin, and does not moisturize as well as past versions. As a longtime user and promoter of this product, this latest change is very disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve use Johnson’s baby lotion for years, this one, as you can see in my picture, very light gentle moisturizer for my baby. I sometimes use it for myself as well. Especially this time the formulas comes with aloe and vitamin I like it even better. Cute in pink and smells nice!!

The new Johnson's Baby Lotion is a complete disappointment. The signature scent that made this product a household staple is gone, replaced by an unpleasant fragrance that bears no resemblance to the original. The texture is even worse—sticky, heavy, and greasy instead of soft, smooth, and absorbent. The old formula didn't need fixing. It was a trusted classic that generations of families loved. This wasn't just another lotion in our house—it was part of three generations of our family. I grew up with it (and continue to use it as an adult), used it on my own children, and now my children have been using it with their families. Few products earn that kind of trust across generations, which makes this change all the more disappointing. Sadly, this reformulation has taken everything that made the product special and thrown it away. I won't buy it again, and can't in good conscience recommend it. I sincerely hope Johnson's reconsiders this mistake and brings back the original lotion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lotion is right in the middle between thick and thin. It melts into the skin easy but it won’t run off when you try to apply it. This will last us a long time and it smells just like baby powder, it’s soooo yummy.

If I could give this less than one star I definitely would! This new formula is horrible. It smells bad and leaves skin feeling like there is a film on it! I’m so disappointed! Why fix something that’s not broke? Apparently it was changed “to meet millennial parents' demands for simpler, more natural, and transparent ingredients” but what about us parents that have always used and loved the product we had! You would’ve been better off just creating a new lotion for them and leave the one you had alone and have 2 separate products. I have used this lotion for years and it was the best but safe to say Johnson’s baby has lost a customer because like I said this new formula is horrible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smells like the original Johnson’s lotion. This has a great feel, easy to apply and it’s easy to transport. Great for all skin types. My 18 month old daughter has been using it a few days and seen great results. Very little residue as well!

Low scent so you know there are no harsh fragrances that cause skin irritation. Great value, lots of product for the price! Great design making it easy to dispense the product. Perfect consistency easy for application.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Johnson’s Baby is a constant in our house but we had never used this particular baby lotion until recently. The smell is amazing!! So fresh and sweet. It has that sweet new baby smell. It’s not grainy and it goes on very smooth. My baby seems to love it and it has become a staple in our daily routine. What I am most impressed by is it seems very gentle on skin. It hasn’t been the cause of any skin upsets for our kids which is big.

The consistency is nice, but it feels a little bit sticky on my hands after application (probably from the aloe). My baby probably doesn’t mind, but it’s not my favorite feeling.
