Customer reviews for SAMSUNG 60" Class TU700D-Series Crystal Ultra HD 4K Smart TV with HDR - UN60TU700DFXZA forGood Value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After my LG TV picture quality continued to decline with a dark cloudy area over 1/3 of the screen after only 4 years use I thought it was time for a replacement. I did not want to spend a huge amount especially considering the short life of my past investment. I read a number of reviews prior to deciding on the Samsung and so far I am very pleased with the TV overall quality and picture. Setup was also easy. Now just hoping for many years of good service.
Great picture, poor connection.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this tv, at first. The picture is great for the price. But, after a while, it started losing connection to my wifi network. The tv would work, technically, but I would lose all "smart" functions. It would go weeks at a time, refusing to connect to my network; then, I'll turn it on, and it just happens to connect. It's very frustrating, because I really do like this tv.
Kranberie: Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry that you are experiencing Wi-Fi connection issues. You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test 4) Please be sure you have the latest firmware update which enhances network connectivity. Ver 1401.7 is now available. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to Settings>Support>Software Update Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using and the new version is the latest update. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit. Seamless home integration/personalisation options
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned my TU7000 series 75" for about a month now, and I must say I am so happy I made the decision to go big or go home! This is the biggest, and best TV I have ever owned. Other brands pale in comparison to the Samsung Crystal UHD 4K experience. The HDR color definition is unlike anything I have ever seen. I currently pair my TV with the Samsung MX-T70 surround speaker, and man is it immersive to watch a movie with this theatre of a TV! It really puts you right in the front row. The home is customisable and accessible without leaving an app you're currently using or watching, which I love! When connecting to my speaker, I don't even have to go through the trouble of going through the settings, it connects automatically and prompts you to play from the speaker, regardless of what you have open or playing. When playing from the speaker, I can simply use the volume buttons on my remote to increase speaker volume. The game mode makes the TV respond very quickly and activates automatically, reducing the input lag. The TV has an ambient lighting feature that dims the display according to the light in the room. Overall, the TU7000 series 75" TV has provided me with hours of seamless and trouble free entertainment. Hats off to Samsung on this one, they never cease to amaze me with their product quality and almost non-existent bezels. Beautiful product. I would recommend anyone on the fence about if you "need" this big of a TV to go for it, it was totally worth it!
Looks great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect size! Imagine super clear! Easy to set up, I'm not the best At installing, was able to fit all on my own. Always wanted a smart tv, this is a great choice. Sound is my fave. I don't need surround sound, it sounds great. You can adjust picture modes, customize to your own. It's fun using my phone as a remote. My daughter is always losing our remotes. This is one of my favorite features.
Brand new tv with sound malfunction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a brand new tv, came home set up the entire thing to find out that the sound came with a problem. Need to put the volume more then 50 to hear something. Always had LG and the one time I make the switch this Happens.
Hi, paulnetojr, Thank you for sharing your experience with low volume on the Samsung TU7000 TV. I understand how frustrating it is when your product is not working as expected. I have a few setting adjustments for you to try that should help resolve your issues. 1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. 2) Adaptive Volume automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. 3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode. Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might be set too low. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again. I am thrilled with my Samsung TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my TV. It's exactly the tech I need because I have access to all my subscriptions and streaming services. The large, high-quality display is awesome, but I do wish I had bought an even bigger size Sa Samsung than my 60" version.
more pros than cons
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] pros-great picture quality, slim, lightweight, easy to mount on wall, lots of smart apps built in and plenty more to download. Cons- the menu and user interface needs an update it's not fun to navigate through as well as the tv remote needs updating, the buult in memory is not enough and the Samsung internet app better navigation. It can use an integration with cell phones that should be able to control the tv for a smoother experience while using the built in apps.
Best TV I Have Ever Owned
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Legit review here. Upgraded from an old Vizio to this Samsung UHD 4k (7000 series). I have been blown away by it so far, been about 6 months. Lightweight, light enough to hang on the wall by yourself. Built in apps are cool, saves the need for an additional device (plus Tizen OS beats Android TV by a mile) Picture is gorgeous. On screen notifications about other devices (completely optional btw, but I find it useful for my Samsung washer and dryer, small notification pops up in the right corner when either cycle is completed. Alot more useful than it seems. Overall, its a gorgeous TV, with more features than I even need, for a pretty great price too. Seriously, the 7000 series is dope, and I plan to get 3 more soon to replace the other TV's in my house.
Great Quality and Style
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only buy Samsung TVs. They are the best TVs in my opinion. We have 6 Samsung TVs in our house and 4 Samsung Computer monitors. We use our larger Samsung TVs for watching movies and TV. We use our smaller Samsung TVs mostly for gaming. We have one 70", two 55" inch, two 40", and one 32". Samsung TVs have excellent picture quality and their "hub" (for accessing Nextfilx, Prime, Hulu, etc...) is easy to use. Great product!
Beautiful picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I recently purchased this Samsung TV. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to be happy with this TV. After getting it hone and setting it up, I was amazed at the difference in the picture from our old TV ( which, by the way, was not a very old TV.) I also was impressed with the amount of apps that you have access to. I LOVE the Samsung TV hub! Overall, it is probably the best TV we have ever purchased as far as quality of the picture. The only thing I don't like about it is the remote that comes with it. The buttons are very small and they're close together so if you don't have a light on in the room, especially at night, as our TV is in our bedroom, its a little difficult for me to use. Other than that, I live this TV.
