i'm very pleased with the picture quality, but absolutely hate the "smart tv" functionality. first, it has a built-in samsung tv plus that auto-plays if you don't have any inputs. i only use over-the-top streaming content, so i don't have any inputs. i had to do a workaround to delete the tv plus channels to prevent them from auto-playing. that didn't actually disable the tv plus app, instead of playing it now shows an error. second, the smart hub, which allows you to view your apps, has ads! there's no way to disable the ads, even though i paid for the tv! third, navigating the installed apps using the smart hub is very tedius. horrible ui design. roku, firestick, etc. are all better. in the end i had to use my old roku and not even any functionailtiy of the built-in smart tv.

The smart features are a bit slow and I was very disappointed when I noticed there was “sponsored” content (aka ads) included that you can't turn off. It would be a fantastic TV if not for the sponsored content. Thinking about returning it.

It provides a spectacular, crystal-clear 4K picture with no pixilation that I can detect. Another key requirement for me was the availability of popular pre-loaded streaming apps or the ability to download and install those that did not come preloaded. The remote control is compact and efficient. The only desired improvement to the remote control would be the addition of an optical cursor. Would I recommend this specific model? Absolutely yes. I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this tv for my birthday because I had seen my sister's TV, which is also a Samsung, and I really liked it. What I loved about it is the free channels Samsung offers, as you only need internet connection. I chose this TV because I wanted to use headphones to listen to it when it's too late or my family is asleep, so it works perfectly too. In addition to the Samsung programming, my TV is connected to the PS4, and it is really cool how the TV automatically changes settings from TV to Gaming; but what's even better is that when on the PS4 platform, if I choose Netflix or a similar provider, it changes from Gaming to TV settings on its own again. I'm fascinated with Samsung, my phone is Samsung, TV, refrigerator, oven, I really like this brand.

Kids LOVE movie night now because they can still see it perfectly when they go to kitchen to grab snacks or drinks. While watching our beloved Rams it feels like we're on the field. The audio just from TV is great. Really the only time we use the sound system is for movies. And onto the 2 things I personally dislike; 1) Connectivity to screencast/ screenshare is frustrating because it seems like every 3rd or 4th time I connect to it, i have to spend 20-30 minutes on the phone or computer with Samsung support. They always do a great job and walk me through everything, however it's just frustrating to have to go through the whole process every couple weeks. 2) Samsung TV; great idea but when they play the same block of shows EVERY SINGLE DAY, it gets annoying. All in all we have been super happy with the upgrade!! Great price, amazing picture&sound. The good definitely outweighs the 2 things that personally bug me.

The controller is very user friendly. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the lack of HDMI inputs, it only has 2. Fix that and it's an easy 5 star from me!
