Great value, excellent picture quality

this tv was the perfect upgrade for us. the picture quality is great, we can see so much more detail than our previous 50”. easy to setup, use and manage your streaming applications. we have a samsung soundbar & woofer that it works with seamlessly. among similar tvs of the same size and quality, the price is what sold us.

Great TV, Great Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy setup with my Samsung galaxy Note9. No trying to remember passwords or sign on. Legs were Easy to install and seem sturdy. The clips that hold the cables are very nice for keeping the cords neat. I have yet to use all the functionality that the TV offers. Again very nice TV!

1 exception

I can easily switch from TV to gaming and even watch pictures or videos from my phone or computer. The only drawback was the backlight let's were non functional straight out of the box.

Great features and easy navigation.

It's easy to navigate with all the streaming services together, quick to find, and can add any of yours that aren't in the preset options. It even came with some tv channels including music and movie options.

This TV is the complete TV!

From the very first day Ive had a great experience from streaming tv to listening to music! The setup process is very easy and the interface is so easy to navigate my 6 year old can do it. The picture quality is so crisp I host all the sporting events at my house from now on! I love my Samsung TV!

Great TV just too fragile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this TV. Very clear picture and fast loading times. Very rarely had a problem with it. Occasionally, it would disconnect from the internet when turned off and I had to just reset the network settings. It also is super fragile. I moved recently and handled with care and carried it upright in a box, but when I plugged it in in my new place the whole middle part of the screen was blacked out.

Beautiful picture, poor usability

the remote control works more slowly than any tv we've ever had, to the point that we sometimes think it's not working at all. the response from the tv can take easily 30 seconds after we press and release a button on the remote. we're slowly learning to adjust our expectations, but wish we didn't have to accommodate the tv, rather than it accommodating us. the lack of a printed instruction manual is a huge inconvenience to us, since our computer is in the opposite end of the house, and to look at the manual we downloaded requires a long walk both ways, which is borderline unacceptable.

Nice TV. Could be great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our TV is used for streaming and gaming. Overall, the picture quality is nice. The internal speakers are pretty good but we use a sound bar. The issues I have with this model are 1) In dark programming there is a visible, stuttered motion trail that is very unnatural and distracting. It looks best with bright program material. 2) The power button/controls on the bottom center of the frame are pretty useless. 3) Due to #2, when the TV freezes I have to pull the power to get it to work, which used to happen fairly frequently. 4) The remote is not friendly - the transport controls are very small and at the bottom. Also, there is no bluetooth button! You have to navigate through many pages through the settings to connect/disconnect headphones. I like the TV but the LG I had before this was much more user-friendly. I realize Samsung makes much nicer TVs but the I'd be reluctant to commit to an upgrade without knowing these issues would be addressed.

To check your firmware, head to Settings>Support>Software Update and then update from there if needed. Also, for lag, to further optimize performance, use the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care Next, For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings - Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Not bad for the price, but no Hulu App

the image quality is good for the price. the overall experience is good. but we mostly use streaming services. i had a 42" samsung before, that didn't have the hulu app available. we bough this one because it had the app logo in the box, instead of other brand of similar quality and price. for our surprise, it had almost all the apps we use, except hulu. we have the app on our phones and tables and we can stream it to the tv, but the whole idea on buying this tv was not having to do that. other than that, i wish it had some analog connection for dvd players and audio receivers. it only has 2 hdmi and one audio (optical) 1 usb port and one lan port.

I am very sorry to hear that you are not able to find the Hulu app. First, please make sure you are running the latest firmware version (ver 1401.7) Software updates are regularly released for Samsung products. If possible, you should always update to the latest version to make sure that your device is the best it can possibly be. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to Settings>Support>Software Update Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using and the new version is the latest update. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience by selecting > Auto Update. If your app is not available on the home screen, you can search for it and install it. - Press Home, then select the Apps icon - Navigate to the top and select the Search icon (magnifying glass) - Type Hulu in the search bar and install the app Note: You may need to cold reboot the TV for Hulu to load this version (5.3.262) To cold reboot the TV: While the TV is on, press and hold the power button on the remote until the TV turns off and then back on. The best experience
