Good deal

Great picture at a really good price! I would've given it more stars but, once again, the Samsung remote has issues. I have Spectrum (no choices yet in my area) and the remote numbers, including the pre channel button, are inoperative. It is a huge hassle to change channels!! Spectrum and Samsung both blame each other but will not rectify the issue…….

First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support > Software Update. Also, ensure that the cable box is close to the IR sensor on the Samsung AU8000 TV. Next, we recommend ensuring that you are utilizing Anynet+. With Anynet+, you can control external devices that are connected to your TV with HDMI using your TV remote. To turn on Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), go to: Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). If your cable box does not support HDMI-CEC, you will not be able to use Anynet+. If you continue to have issues, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. I love this TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the color and clarity of this TV, whether I'm watching cable, the Samsung TV channel, my own media, or streaming! The 50" screen is perfect in my bedroom. I just wish that the Bluetooth feature allowed me to use my earpiece for quiet viewing.

so easy to get setup

Does not work with Hulu Live tv

This tv does not work with Hulu Live. When viewing Hulu live, the tv constantly freezes and its getting progressively worse. I have gone through all the suggested trouble shooting, but it has not solved the problem. Tech support defaults to suggesting it is a connection or wifi issue, however I have an older tv connected to a hulu express streaming player and have no problems at all.

A big upgrade from my old TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv is crystal clear and a much needed update from my old tv. The smart tv aspect is very easy to use and brings so many functions than just a tv such as being a music speaker. Would highly recommend this tv to anyone who asks!

The products had great app features pre installed.

I enjoy watching sports and playing video games on it. My kids love the picture quality when they turn on the Disney app. Overall a great product.

Newly Converted Samsung junkie.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Curve tv for everything from steaming UFC and NFL to using the Screensaver as a comfort tool for my 8 months old. Everything about it is incredible and easy to use. It's amazing how flawlessly and quickly I can hook my phone up to it and change it to a PC monitor with DEX or just stream anything on it. The built in speaker make Unnecessary to have the purchase any sound systems it was but I have and and it Elevated my entertainment system To the next level. It's also great that I can have the sound coming out of both the optical I have the TV speakers itself at the same time. When LG left the phone business there was a void in my life because I've been a long long long time lg user there and my Samsung curve with with the intrigue of foldable phones Piqued my interest enough to pull the trigger on the Samsung Z fold 3 5G And now with the happiness I've had from my last 2 Samsung purchases it's converted me completely to Samsung for for all of my products. I'm now Samsung Lifer and couldn't be happier.

Samsung delivers again with Crystal UHD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV all around has a decent SMART Universal Guide, UI experience, and ease of use to access various apps and add new ones. Crazy details that certainly making rewatching older and newer films quite an eye-opening experience. SMART features make it easy to sync with devices and other tech. There are quite a few options to update or moderate your preferred settings for color, brightness, balance, etc. Only thing that this TV doesn't handle well with higher colorful settings is gradients; things get muddy and not as smooth as other Samsung models, whether it'd be on an app screen or within a video.

Died after only 16 months

i thought that buying this samsung tv would be a wise decision, but at least for this model it was not. with a warranty covering one year, it completely died after only 16 months. i tried fixing it myself by replacing the two main internal boards, but not luck. apparently a screen issue and not worth fixing. performance while it lasted was ok but not great . my main complaint would be an odd flickering of objects colored red. in the future i may give a lesser known brand a chance.

The remote sucks

the remote for this tv is horrible!!! trying to navigate through your apps? oh accidentally pressed the back/home button because everything is grouped tightly together? oh the tv picture is awesome. the keyboard mechanics are up there with the remote. like let me just type my word out not oh you want to delete that selection? so not only do you have to press those small navigation buttons you have to do a few times just to move off the letter you selected.
