Customer reviews for SAMSUNG 60" Class TU700D-Series Crystal Ultra HD 4K Smart TV with HDR - UN60TU700DFXZA forGood TV
Bought in November 2022 during price markdown. Negative comments are: 1. Did not come with an owners manual. 2. Only has 2 HDMI plugs. 3. Had some question during setup as could not determine if it was related to TV or my cable provider...no owners manual.
Tv is ok, remote is a challenge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the overall tv for the price is tine. sound isn't great but not bad. the challenges are the remote control is a problem. and it does not integrate well with my cable (fios) so when you hit the guide, no information is given. and if you have any glare, forget it. you can not see anything. and it wil not allow you to change the size of your picture (no zoom etc). what you see is it and it will not change. again for the proce it is fine, but far from ideal.
Clay: I’m sorry for the difficulties with your TV remote. We understand your frustrations, and are here to help. Please know, With Anynet+, you can control external devices that are connected to your TV with HDMI using your TV remote. To turn on Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), go to: Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). If your cable box does not support HDMI-CEC, you will not be able to use Anynet+. Additionally, you can use the Universal Remote feature to program your connected devices using your TV remote by following these set-up steps: 1) Connect an external device to the HDMI port of the TV, and then power on the external device. Your TV will automatically recognize the device when connected through HDMI and will switch the output. If it doesn't automatically detect it, then keep following the steps to set up Universal Remote. 2) Press the Home button on your TV remote to access the Home Screen. Using the directional pad on the remote, navigate to Source. When the selector is placed over Source, the Source menu will appear. Press UP on the directional pad to access Universal Remote. 3) Select Universal Remote on the Source screen. Next, select Start and make sure the device you want to connect is turned on. When your desired device displays, select it. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup and register the device. The instructions may vary, depending on the device type selected. 4) Your TV and the remote will memorize the external device and its connection port (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.) to make controlling everything even easier. I hope this tip helps. If there is anything we can do to further assist and improve your user experience, please do let us know by contacting Samsung Customer Support. Just unbelievable
We just love it.its our first tv of this type. We didn't know that they made tvs like this. The color and depth just jump out at you. It is so incredible. Out only problem is the sound. Both my wife and I have a hearing problem and the volume is just not as loud as we like.
You Can Do Better
i decided to purchase this tv because my sister had an older samsung tv and the picture quality was great. so i had high hopes for this tv and i was hoping to ditch the fire stick with the smart tv features. so i was pretty disappointed with this tv. the picture quality is no better than my old non-4k vizio and the smart tv feature are incredibly glitchy to the point that i have up on it and went back to the fire stick. the apps constantly freeze up and half of the time they won't even launch unless i uninstall and reinstall them. and the 7 year old samsung tv actually has better picture quality. this product was not worth the extra money and i doubt i will buy another samsung again.

Amazing Picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our TV is used for hours every day for entertainment and education purposes. This television has a crisp picture that puts the other TV's in our home to shame. We have found no negatives for this product.
Great Tv with no any lagging
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We switched to this version of TV , earlier we had old version of samsung which was drastically slowed down but this version looks way better than previous versions. Fast processing, good picture quality and sound . We loved inbuilt samsung tv channels. Its diffinatly better than previous version.
Good TV for the Price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this TV for 2 years now. The screen provides crisp and clear images. Motion is very good as well. A very good TV for the price! I know that all TVs today have downward facing speakers and this is one thing I do not like, as the sound would be much better with front-facing speakers. Since this inhibits the experience (and would with any TV anymore) I did invest in a soundbar for better sound clarity. All-in-all, a good TV for the money. 4 and a half stars!
Great Picture, Slow Processor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm going to skip listing all the items I like, as most everything is great, the picture sound, etc. I will dive into my 3 issues that I have with this TV, and maybe it is just because this is a little lower on the lineup of all their TVs. First The app does not work, I have downloaded it to my phone, and I get nothing - it never connects, and it sucks. I see online from other reviews that this is a pretty standard issue. I'm not running Samsung but if I was I would not have "Download the app" be the first thing when doing the TV setup if the app does not even work. Second the volume response from the remote is way too sensitive, if I hold it for 1 second it goes down by 1, if I hold it for 2 seconds, it goes down by like 15-20 - because of this I have to click it a bunch of times to change the volume, however if the volume button clicks are too close together then it will make a huge jump again. Finally the processor is slow, like really slow. When you turn on the TV and are going to select the app you would like, for example your preferred streaming service - it has a pretty long lag / latency between click, and when it actually moves the selected icon. It is bothersome enough that I have had the correct icon selected, and then when I push the OK button it hops over to the next app and opens that one up.
Samsung Number 4
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 4th Samsung TV. Got this one for a bedroom used by the g-kids. Others are a 65”, a 55” and a 45”. This one, like the others, was easy to set up and connect. Using this one for streaming only - no wired connections. Picture is great, sound is fine, easy to use and connect with all the streaming sources we use. We think it was a great value, and have been very happy with Samsung quality. Otherwise, we wouldn't have 4 Samsung TVs.
Excellent quality at an excellent price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel that, for the price, that this TV is far better quality than other brands I am familiar with. It looks good and it sounds good. The software is easy enough to navigate and select the programming that I want to see. I know that it is not the most expensive model available in its size, but since I am one of millions of Americans that are on the lower end of income, it is good that I was able to find a good quality television that I can afford. I really am impressed with the sound quality of my television!
