Customer reviews for SAMSUNG 60" Class TU700D-Series Crystal Ultra HD 4K Smart TV with HDR - UN60TU700DFXZA forGreat Quality and a Great Price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We never had a Samsung TV before, this was our first purchase. We were nervous but decided to go with it and I'm glad we did. The picture quality is great, I like the way the volume control works, and the size is great. You can see everything with no problem.
Absolutely stunning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't be any happier with my choice. Tv has absolutely stunning picture quality for the size I thought the picture quality would diminish but that's not the case it actual upscales everything above and beyond. Couldn't be happier and would strongly recommend. The true movie theater experience in your living room
Overall a fantastic TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV was easy to setup with a crystal clear picture and excellent sound quality. The only downside and I mean only downside to this TV is sometimes when using my xbox the TV will flicker off for a few seconds before the picture appearing
I don't know of anything I value most.
samsung tv's should not come loaded with samsung television channels. they are not worth it! also, a channel guide should be available for any network you choose, not just the channels you pre-load. i rated it a 3 because the picture is good. the top of the line samsung sound bar i purchased with the television i rate a 3 also. the quality of sound sometimes is very marginal. in my way of thinking, samsung televisions & sound bars are overpriced for what you get in return.

Beautiful picture
so i was weary because it was refurbished and so cheap.. but its beautiful! the picture is spot on, beautiful graphics, i love it! i want to buy one for the living room in a bigger size! dont hesitate, just do it! i read the bad reviews and most of them have to do with shipping issues. the tv itself is really nice
Overall it's fine for an inexpensive TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn't bought a new TV in several years, and I went with a top brand, but a discounted price. In retrospect... I might have made a different choice. But overall - it's fine. It's a decent enough TV . The 2 main issues I have with it are: It's dark. Like really dark. Watching any dark/night scenes and I can't make out many details. I've turned the brightness WAY up and turn all the lights off in the room shut all the blinds etc, and it's still difficult to make out what's happening. So I mostly watch shows with dark/action scenes in the evenings, because in the daytime I might as well be looking at a black screen with some audio. The other thing is small, and odd. It turns itself on. Not all the time, but often enough that it's annoying. I'll turn it off at the end of the day - go into the next room and hear it come on. It's baffling!
Hi Sher71, Thank you for your purchase and your feedback on the Samsung TU7000 TV. Please know we are here to help you and have a few troubleshooting tips that may resolve your issues. First, if the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings. I recommend using Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic. Or you can manually adjust the Brightness, Contrast, and more. Press the HOME button on your remote, then navigate to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings. You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV according to the ambient light level to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to Settings > General > Eco Solution > Ambient Light Detection. Now, if your TV is turning itself on, there are a few steps that I would like you to go through to ensure they are not the cause. 1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds. 2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage. 3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet. 4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. 5. Disable the Power On with the Mobile option. TVs that can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. Finally, if you are using the device through HDMI, it could cause the auto-on, as Anynet+ is enabled. Occasionally connected devices such as game consoles (PS5, Xbox) or cable set-top boxes send a turn-on signal, for example, if they have software updates. We recommend you try turning Anynet+ off as it may be causing auto power on. Go to Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+, then disable. Formally a Sony fan.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my life all I would purchase in electronics was electronic. But after purchasing a new home as me and my wife discussed what to put in it appliance wise we settled on Samsung. Our home is now 100% Samsung after the television purchase. After years of having a 43 inch Sony I decided it was time for a larger television. Living in a rural area sometime it can feel like you can never find what you want to. I was looking for a 65-70 inch Sony television but was unable to find what I wanted without traveling an hour or 2. So while shopping at our local Walmart one day my wife ask me why not get a Samsung. Well we are more than satisfied with all our appliances and Samsung service so I thought sure. It was definitely an upgrade in size and quality. The picture is unmatched he's and the sound for our home is perfect. Overall I don't feel you can find a higher quality appliance or electronic anywhere. Samsung is now the preferred product in our home. As a testament to Samsung getting someone like myself who is very strongly brand loyal to switch brand speaks volumes about your product.
Difficult setup-not easy
after a couple days of trying to get past error message, googling, how to fix, etc. finally working. then you have to add apps, login etc. what i do not like at all is the row of apps at the bottom of the screen. you/i can't tell which one i am on and everytime you turn tv on it doesn't go back to what i was watching/app before. then i have to search for hulu all over again. getting use to it now, but not an easy tv for a non-electronics person.
Immersive visual and sound experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Images look very clear and sharp. Even from afar the images look crisp. Perfect for gaming or movies. The sound quality is also great as even the smallest details can be appreciated. Also, works well with bluetooth. I found the size to be very versatile, it's great for either your living room or for a small room.
Smart TV for the win
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm unsure if all newer smart tv has this option available but I was mind blown when we plugged it in. It comes with TV channels! We don't watch regular tv often and was just going to get tv antenna for local news but it comes with it! Their smart samsung app also has a remote function which came in handy when I couldn't find the actual remote. OH, it also has built in apple tv option so we don't have to plug in our apple tv device anymore :) winner winner.
