Poor Performance

We purchased this 65” Samsung AU8000 series TV in October of 2021. Several months ago we noticed a thin blue line across the lower third of the screen. We tried making adjustments and troubleshooting but nothing helps. We bought this TV in good faith hoping Samsungs product would deliver a great performance but they failed us. To say we are totally disappointed in Samsung is an understatement and we will not recommend this brand.

Quality TVs are a thing of the past.

Samsung must have gone downhill quite a bit. This TV lasted us four years and just stopped working one day wouldn't power on. We have a Samsung plasma upstairs that is 14 years old and it works great. We also have a Samsung TV in our living room that is seven years old that is still working. Not sure if I will buy a Samsung again.

Something Went Wrong

i am a loyal samsung product user, and not matter how many comparable tv i looked at, none had all the features i seem to always find in samsung. however, this time i think i got a dud. perhaps the delivery person knocked the box around too much or something, but i been experiencing occasional fuzzy feedback from the speakers of this tv. i though at first my samsung sound bar had gone wonky, but i noticed the fuzzy feedback once when using my wireless bluetooth earbuds to connect to the tv when watching tv late at nigh. i do not have the additional protection because i bought it once, and it didn't come in handy when i needed it - i just bought a new set. anyway, it's unfortunate because i've only had the tv for a short time, and i hope this isn't a sign of more problems to come.
