Yes it is only a 60hz panel, but I didn't pay over 1000 for it. Like comparable Gaming monitors in this realm. I would love to see Samsung Get the q70t into a 43" size and then I may upgrade. Most games I play are 60 fps games, I am on console. I am slowly moving into the Pc gaming world and I will upgrade then. Most likely another Samsung. I do wish the 21' tv's had MLB app on it. So that is disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this TV for both gaming and general viewing, and it's fairly easy to switch from different picture settings to get the best experience. The TV will occasionally revert to other settings which can be a pain, but overall the UI is pretty intuitive. I'm a bit sensitive to HFR so I also like the added options to toggle things like resolution and motion smoothing. Overall a great product!

any tv in this price range is going to deliver a good home viewing experience. or a pretty good experience hopefully. this tv is a very nice picture during movie scenes with lots of light or great for sports/gaming. the picture is sharp in movie scenes with lots of light, and the colors are bright. during dark scenes for movies, the picture does not have the depth and detail that a more expensive tv would have. but the samsung 50" 8-series delivers a great viewing experience for any dc movie, you simply won't get the full-theater experience of dark movie scenes. it is a solid tv for the price.

i believe samsung products always offer quality. in the case of this tv as well as others we own, the picture quality is excellent. the only mechanical drawbacks are (1) the stands which support the tv: they are quite a ways apart, and we had to modify our existing stand to accept them. (2) the coax connector is parallel to the rear surface vs. at right angles which creates some difficulty when screwing in a coax cable. still, i highly recommend samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture on this tv is really great. Very clear and vibrant. Nature shows look pretty amazing as do my video games and movies. It also has no problem handling my Ps4 and streaming channels. Very smooth. As I mentioned the colors are vibrant. But the blacks are also very sharp, not muddy at all. One problem I did have though was that when I played a Blueray movie through my Playstation the sound would not work. It would play the sound during the previews and menu but not once the movie started. However this may be a console issue. I hooked up a dedicated Blueray player and everything works fine even though it is some years older. It has some great free tv channels which I really appreciated as I cut the cord to my cable years ago. I just wish that when I switched from game to tv that it didn't always pop up directions for the remote on the screen. Also a dedicated one button push for switching inputs would be nice. But this a great tv. And most importantly to me I was able to get rid of the dreaded Soap Opera Effect!

my last tv was a 1080p picture quality and a 40”. i went with a 50” to fit a specific location. i regular game on my tvs. the picture quality, coloring and clarity are amazing. i am super happy with the purchase. it has enhanced my viewing and gaming experience.

This TV looks nice in bright scenes, and in a lighted room. But, it has large withish areas/patches close to all four corners, that blur such sections of the TV, when playing dark scenes, or without illumination in the room. As we installed it in the basement, in a room without windows, the foggy sections are quite visible, and really annoying. We had already discarded the packaging, by the time we tried the TV, and I'm not sure how to return it, to be exchanged. I purchased another Samsung 75" TV (The Frame), within the same month of December 2021, and loved it! We expected a similar experience with this less expensive TV. Unfortunately, we got a defective product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love my Samsung Crystal TV. I swear it seems as though it could do the dishes. The features are endless. For instance, I connect my phone, my tablet, _and_ my laptop to it. As a result I can control a lot of each with the remote. I also connect my Alexa echo to it. One can adjust the clarity to movie theater quality. I simply had lower that because I really could see the News anchors' pores when their make up is poorly administered. But I adjust it back when watching movies. At that price, I think everyone basically should have at least this level of television. Once again, Samsung doesn't disappoint and exceeds expectations. It's definitely worth the outrageously priced gas to go pick it up if you can't for the overnight delivery. Do NOT, and I mean it, don't blame me if you end up missing important things because you were virtually glued to your new fantastic television. Enjoy... wink

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the second one we purchased the first was bigger, this latest was for my 83 year old mother, she loves it. As with a lot of seniors she watches a lot of sports. The first day we went over the remote several times to make sure she got. We had a great day together it was her birthday. When we got home that night she called my husband and I looked at each other and oh no what's wrong, turns out she called to say she saw the hockey puck whizzing by on the tv she had never seen it so good doesn't need her glasses to see tv Anymore. Wanted to thank us for the tv best gift ever
