Interface is poor

we thought this tv would be an upgrade from the tcl roku tv. not sure at this moment. 1. the interface and app logo are way to small for anyone under 40 to read. the interface seems slow at times and sometimes reverts back to home when it cannot load the app. 2. it loses our wifi nearby daily. the tv is not in the same room as our modem but still you would think that 200 mb internet would work. 3. the remote is not very fun to use, especially the volume. it has only three preloaded app on it for easy access and isnt very responsive at times. i thought the 8000 series was going to blow me away but if actually makes me hope the next version has to be better.

Your home internet can have interference or a weaker signal depending on how far away your router is from your device. Also depending on how many walls the signal needs to go through this can also hinder your overall Wi-Fi signal. TV itself is great, however

i don't like the built in samsung tv app.. mostly older programming.. i prefer fire tv.. i added my fire stick but kept getting conflicts with samsung interface.. firestick would lockup or not show up at all. i'm sure samsung tv wants to be primary app but it can't compete with fire or roku... deal breaker for me...i won't by another samsung with samsung but in streaming app

Hi Bill, Thank you for purchasing the Samsung AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for sharing your feedback regarding Samsung TV Plus and your experience using an external streaming device. Your experience is important to us and will be shared with our product teams. Please know, Samsung TV Plus can be disabled, removing the channels from your default guide. Should you want to disable TV plus, follow the steps below: 1) Navigate to the Samsung TV Plus app and press and hold the enter or select button on the remote. This will bring up two options. ‘Move’ and ‘Remove’. 2) Navigate to ‘Remove’ and select. This option brings up the ability to remove the app icon or disable the service. 3) Navigate to ‘Disable’ and select. This will remove the service from the launcher bar and the channels from the TV Guide. Alternatively, you can leave TV Plus enabled and utilize the Autorun Last App feature to automatically start the last app you used once the TV is turned on. To enable this feature, follow the steps below: 1) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Smart Hub 2) Enable the Autorun Smart Hub feature 3) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App 4) Enable the Autorun Last App feature Should you wish to use an external streaming device instead of the built in smart features on the TV, you can utilize one of the three available HDMI ports to connect an external device. Once connected, simply change the source of the TV to match the input you used when connecting the device and you will be able to use your external device without issue. Great tv for a fantastic price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About the only thing I would change about this set is the remote. Otherwise it's about perfect for the bedroom. Crystal clear image, loads of apps. Colors just pop at you. Even games look fantastic. Definitely recommend this model.

Crisp Display, the details are everything

It really brings to life some of our favorite shows and films. When we leave it on our chrome cast the art and photography are so stunning we literally can't turn our eyes away. Love watching TV but love it even more on this tv

Great picture at a great price!

Also my grandkids love to watch their high definition movies when the come over. But nothing is better than watching MLB games streaming through my Samsung UHD.

Nice but not perfect

overall the picture is pretty good, and the smart set up was wonky but worked. i don't much care for the loading of apps and the constant rearranging every time you load one. but mostly i hate the fact that to set the tv on a timer for sleep, it requires way too many button pushes to get what should be a one or two button set up. use that feature every night and hate the tv every time i have to go deep into a set up menu for a one time use.

This product is sleek and clear

It's also smart TV comes with all the apps already on it and easy to set up your streaming accounts. I would highly recommend.
