I bought this Roku as a replacement for a much older streaming stick to work with my newer 4K TV. I continue to enjoy the interface and its ability to support the apps I use. The simple transfer from one device to the next, and the ability to keep the Roku out of the way makes it an easy experience.

I have used my Roku for about , 8 yrs. . After about 4 yrs. , I had put a small fan on it , an extension line on the stick . To get it away from the back of the TV . Heat seemed to be the problem. I also added a timer. So your are thinking why 5 stars . I think it's the greatest cord cutter11111

I bought this to turn a 20-year-old TV into a modern internet accessible one. I spent a lot of money on this TV and could only use it when connected to cable and HD cable box which was expensive. With the streaming stick I can use it as I do my other Roku TV's, no cable just Wi-Fi streaming. Definitely a great low-cost purchase that I would recommend!

I really like the Roku stick. It gives so many options of things to watch. The one kicker is that I have it synced to my tv it is supposed to turn on the tv and the stick when you power up on the Roku remote. It will do that but it is not instantaneous. It takes a minute or two sometimes. Not a huge problem. It just seems like it should happen quicker.

We have used the box shaped Roku's for years. We decided to upgrade to the stick. It by far performs better than what we are used to. The streaming speed is constant. The only downfall we have with the stick, you cannot control the volume mode (i.e,- leveling, night mode). Is there a way to have that feature activated on the stick?

wanted to add that to my Android 64" tv This Sony set likes to freeze added the Roku stick as the other units in my home all have the roku and t is FANTASTIC love the shows and can stream any and all that is on the newer TV Recommend to anyone who love streaming or just watching television

Was unaware of the benefits of the Roku stick until my brother-in-law suggested it. Now I enjoy streaming without having to buy a smart TV. Even though I don’t have free access to certain channels I enjoy it still has been very nice with the options I do gave. Thanks

This is my fourth Roku stick (I also have a TCL TV with Roku integrated) and I can't say enough about how much I love them. We have a lot of older TVs that still work great and are flat screens but do not have smart capabilities - the Roku sticks are changing ALLLLLL THAT. We even added one into our movie room with the SONY projector and it makes movie time so easy! If we could only get my non-technological father on the Roku program, we'd entirely kill cable. Every time I get another stick, I save money on my cable bill by sending back a box. It's a big hit with the whole family - even my older mother (who this last stick was for) loves her Roku stick!

I have been a ROKU customer for over 7 years. Our Roku TV still works great-never have had any problems. Additionally we have Roku streaming devices for older TVs - allow us to access other network apps where we can watch shows not available on our regular cable service.

I have two important recommendations: +Stick should have the ability to scroll through channels especially when you are on Roku channels or or gulag TV. + should have a Menue button to explore various stations without having to keep going back to previous stations
