I recently canceled my TV cable connection and went straight to Wi-Fi. I am experimenting with what is available to the roku. I have not signed app for any live programs yet there is enough on roku to satisfy my viewing needs at this time. I do have a subscription to Netflix and peacock.

I travel a lot for work and one big perk with Roku is it allows you to travel with your streaming services all setup. All I have to do is plug it in to a TV in a hotel and using my smart phone connected to the Wifi. This makes being away from home just a little easier. I've been doing this for years with a Roku 3 which has served me very well. About a year ago I upgraded to a Roku stick 4k which I noticed a noticable improvement in responsiveness. I've even bought a few more Roku sticks to plug into older smart TVs I have at home that are showing their age and putting new life into them. Even if you have a high end TV with Dobly Vision this is a great option!

I bought this year ago & I love the product. The quality of resolution of a picture it displays. This is a convenient unit that we use in one of bedrooms. It takes up less space, easy to install in the back of your TV. Roku 4 K works well & haven’t had any issues with any of the ROKU Products. Professional Customer if you need to contact them for any questions. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Compact & Easy to slip into a purse or suitcase if when you travel .

Whenever I use the one n the bedroom it will not connect to my Internet until I turn it off, then turn it back on. But it always says I have an excellent after I turn off then turn it back on. This one n the bedroom is the one that u replaced. Living room one works fine though.

We cut the cord recently and switched to the Roku Streaming stick. We've used it for about a month now and couldn't be happier. It's so easy to set up and use. I would highly recommend this product to anyone else looking to cut the cord. Happy streaming!!!

These are probably my 8th Roku product and I love them. I have been using Roku since the very first product I was aware of in 2010. I own that plus a Roku 2, an original Roku Stick, 4 Upgraded Roku sticks, and now 2 Roku 4K sticks. And I recently bought my daughter a Roku TV, so I can say I am all in on Roku. I have reviewed the other technologies but decided that I prefer Roku over all of them. Even though my new TV is a smart tv I bought this stick for it because I prefer Roku over other setups.

I was under the impression we would be able to control the volume on our Yamaha RX-V373 receiver with this remote, we cannot. The Amazon Firestick does allow for this, & quite easily I might add. However, the Firestick is not as app friendly as Roku. I am going to have a hard time recommending Roku to anyone as long as the remote lacks that function.

We've had a Roku stick for many years, but we had some audio problems with it for the last few moths. Without warning, the sound would get insanely loud or suddenly go soft. It did this with most apps. Replaced the stick and everything is fine now. The main competition for Roku is Amazon's Firestick, which I will not use because I won't willingly support Jeff Bezos.

The Roku device seems to work well. I enjoy the compatibility of all the applications. I very much dislike the remote. I have had to repair a few times bc it just stops working. I also hate how there is no back light which makes it super difficult to see any of the smaller buttons at night.

Last year I received a web-based tv for Christmas. I was not happy with not having a favorite channel app available and the web interface was a pain. When the web browser started acting up I thought I would have to buy a new tv. After having had an older,smaller, very cheap roku tv that was great I decided to try a streaming device. WHY did I wait so long? It's GREAT!!! Now I have all my channels easily and quickly available. My complaint? The quich select buttons on the remote aren't programmable. I'm sure Netflix, Disney, etc pays to have their channels as quick links but really folks the customer is paying much more! Ok enough with my rant just get a roku streaming device soon!
