Having been through the disasters that are Amazon Fire Stick TV (due to a failure of an old one (less than 5 years old) and then the inability to update a brand new one) and Chromecast for Google TV (never worked.. ever) Roku has been a breath of fresh air. It just works.

I purchased the Roku 4k Streaming Stick because it was time for an upgrade from my Roku TV. The 4K stick is so much faster, and has smoother transitions (from Home screen to app, exit out of one app and go to another, home screen options). Very pleased with this stick!

I was using a Roku box that was probably 8 years old with the original remote. Performance wise I can't tell a difference between it and the stick but the new remote is night and day. Works under covers and I don't have to point it directly at a box. Still gets lost. LOL I don't know why but a Roku remote gets lost easier then any other remote known to mankind.

I was a little hesitant to buy a Roku because I've had a competitor in the past. We made the switch about two months ago and have seen a noticeable difference. The device also comes with kid friendly shows for our toddler to watch. Great product, would recommend.

I was amazed at how many channels I could view for free. The video quality is awesome. I downloaded all of my local channel apps and don’t have to worry about dish network canceling networks. I have 4 tv’s in my house and two Roku sticks are in the guest rooms. I like the ability to limit guest access to add and pay channels. The remotes are simple and the app is very useful.

I've had several different Roku devices and have always been satisfied. My favorite one is the Soundbar, but this Stick is for my bedroom tv and it is perfect. The tv itself powers it, so no need for additional cables. I especially love Roku remotes -- they set up easily and are simple to use without so many buttons.

I bought two of these and both had dead batteries included. Both also did not have the correct WiFi attachment and Roku had to mail 2 of the. To me. The first package arrived unsealed with nothing in it. The second package arrive one month after contacting Roku with this issue. I wouldn’t buy this product unless you have time to wait for extra parts and are. It planning on taking it on vacation. It was non functioning on our vacation due to no batteries and incorrect WiFi connecting wire.

I like that I can load my Roku with my favorite streaming apps and take it with me when I travel. That way, I can keep up with the series, spring events (tennis, NASCAR, etc.) that I like to keep up with. The streaming stock is compact and easy to pack when I travel. Been a Roku user for over 10 years.

I've been a Roku customer and fan since 2011. In my opinion, they've consistently had the most intuitive interface and best all around products of all streaming hardware and software I've seen or used. My new Streaming Stick is living up to the high expectations I have for any Roku product.

Unfortunately, it’s hit and miss if the remote is going to bring the Roko to life, and if it does, it may or may not move to right to select any category, be it Netflix, Prime or Roko TV. Often I have to give up and try the device operation the next day or in two days time, and it will work fine. I was thinking of buying a second Roko device for our other TV, but first I need to know if the Remotes are All the Same band so I could use either Remote on the first TV if the one that I bought first will not work….I’m sure the problem is in the Remote.
