When it works, it’s great, but every time I want to use it, it doesn’t turn on. I will use the remote to turn my TV on but the actually streaming stick won’t turn on. It will only turn on after I unplug and replug it’s power which is obviously inconvenient and not ideal

In some aspects this works fine, others need help. 1) I have to re-log on to cable provider. This is very annoying. 2) Even though I have my settings to not have the "are you still watching" it still comes up. 3) Too many commercials. while watching golf, if I was watching on cable they would have a "play through" with Roku we don't get the play though and just get the commercials. 4) Too many commercials elsewhere. I will probably try another stick to stream in the future.

The product is great. I am having difficulty, however, getting accustomed to the various ways of accessing the shows I like. As the title states, the remote is too small and with the volume buttons on the side, I am constantly pressing them by accident when I try to work with the remote. I am also having difficulty figuring out what each of the buttons do when you are on the various screens.

Both first unit and replacement unit have occasional video freeze, while audio continues to play in multiple apps. only a few feet away from network router extender. so it's not that (as suggested in other posts about freezing). Wanted to move it to a small tv in another room where we have a non 4k streaming stick that has Voice remote support for the TV brand (Tyler), But the 4k stick does not list this brand in its list of supported tv's. Non 4k stick works fine on both TV's, so problem is only with 4k version, Very disappointed, Will likely get an Amazon firestick if they don't fix this soon (hopeful there's a software path forthcoming). VERY long thread on the forum about this issue, so I am not alone having this problem.

I have 5 TV’s and all have ROKU. The last ROKU was having issues ( numerous). The Streaming Stick 4K is the best unit. Things to consider: 1. Follow the instructions regarding set up, especially regarding proximity to HDMI cables. 2. The remote(s) work great, however, the remote supplied with the stick doesn’t have an earphone jack. The remotes that do have an earphone jack, use a lot of energy. I was constantly replacing batteries. So, I purchased a ROKU remote that plugs in to recharge the sealed unit, however, it doesn’t have an earphone jack. I remedied the battery situation by purchasing rechargeable batteries.

We were using a zumo and it was too difficult for my mother-in-law to navigate. Switching to the Roku was a great decision because she can get to her shows and since we already used the Roku we know how to help her. One of the things we love best about the Roku is the search function not within the Roku app but within the Roku device.

I was initially concerned that I would not be able to operate all the devices in my house using Roku, that was not the case. We love our Roku and the enormous amount of money we save every month. We use WiFi through our cell provider, to operate ROKU, which also saves use money. Easy to set up and we haven’t needed technicians.

I have 2 Rokus. I cut the cord at the beginning of the Pandemic and have not been sorry. I highly recommend Roku for anyone and will replace them with more when they wear out. Pair it up with a Tableau and I can record what I want to watch whenever I want to watch it. The 2 products work well together and I am grateful to have them both.

I like the new Roku because it works not using infrared but Bluetooth technology. The old Roku I have does not work very good I wish you would exchange it for me but it got to the point where I have to bring the control unit right up to the receiver. So would like another one please

I bought this Roku as a replacement for a much older streaming stick to work with my newer 4K TV. I continue to enjoy the interface and its ability to support the apps I use. The simple transfer from one device to the next, and the ability to keep the Roku out of the way makes it an easy experience.
