my biggest complaints are: there no restart function like the other brand stick, Roku makes you master reset and loose all your data, subscriptions etc. I've find unpluging helps it unlock/stuck/freezes up. Also when you watch closed caption CC, if you set what color and size you want like white box & black letters a all black box and black letter shoes up. For some reason it wont work in HDMI 2 but well in HDMI 3, but my other brand of stick works fine in 2 & 3.

The product works mostly as expected. I have found the volume control to be inconveniently located on the side of the device and it is unpredictable for which way it will establish control. Often when I tilt the rocker switch towards increase it will decrease the volume. This has been very frustrating, but I figured I'd just live with it. I have not been back to return it to the store because I have lost the reciept.

I bought this because my smart tv no longer supported some streaming services. I was having problems of buffering and freezing. So I saw the ad for the Roku stick and decided that this will probably solve my issues. And I am so happy because it did. I did not have to buy a new tv. Saved me a lot of $$. I bought 2 more because it works so well. Thank you Roku.

I couldn’t figure out how to get tv stations or strin my trailer. Finally after a few years I tried the Roku stick. Being as u don’t need an outlet on addition to set up system u just plug in back of tv! We have a purchased wifi ATT portable router that we pay monthly and that is our internet! Even airstream and online forums didn't have an easy solution. Now we stream live tv and services we have.

I bought this recently because a friend said the only way I could subscribe to F1-tv was through Roku. i had a 10 year old roku stick and remote which I upgraded to a current one. Still exploring but there seem to be other good things like Sky news (UK). I downgraded my optimum from core to basic. Can’t get Mets baseball which I would like.

I bought my Roku Streaming Stick 4K about a month ago...I like it... great Streaming but the problem I have is with the remote...it works when it wants to...I have replaced the batteries and still...It's tiring to wait for it to kick in ...how does one get a replacement remote??

I have a Vizio 4k TV that is not even 5 years old. We are in a rural area so our internet connection can be a bit spotty. The wireless cards in TVs are generally not good so I bought another Roku to make the connectivity better (already use one for the same reason with my bedroom TV and it works perfect). Kept getting an error message. When I googled the problem, I saw TONS of complaints from people having the same issue. Roku seems to be aware but still has not fixed it and there's no resolution. I believe it's something to protect against piracy that causes a glitch. Very frustrating. I ended up switching the 2 Rokus around and am now using my old 2018 Roku from my bedroom TV. Strange that the old Roku works for my Vizio TV and the new/improved Roku doesn't.

Overall its a very useful product once and awhile it seems to freeze and need to restart it when this happens the dancing letters appear the it goes to a black screen and dosnt load properly. I have 4 rokus and have replaced 1 under warranty. The warranty process is a big pain but was successful in the end. There seems to be no direct customer service phone number found to talk to a person I had to search for it through postings on google

I would like to see the remote have an option for a programmable key, or two. Similar to the Fire Stick Pro so when your system starts you can push that key and go to your favorite app. I know the Netflix, Paramount, Apple TV are there but having a key to address your favorite would be great.

I got 2 Tv that have fire stick and 4 with Roku. Roku is the easiest to work and loaded quickly. I’ve upgraded 3 of them with the 4k sticks. It has a great picture. My smart TV will freeze up in the sports but not on the Roku. I installed with the smart TV.
