I wish for 3 additional features that could make this the ideal streaming device/service: - The ability to select a startup app, so you don't have to relaunch everytime you turn the TV on. - On startup, go directly to the channel it was turned off. - The option to additionally to the TV and the device to also drive a AV receiver (power and volume)

The Roku 4k stick is so simple to install, power up, and add your person settings/preferences. It hodes behind the TV so there's no box sitting next to the TV or stck on its side. Plus I bought during the black Friday sales and saved 40% on the price! Way to go Roku!

Now I can access all the streaming apps on this older TV. It also allows me to control only that TV and doesn't affect my other Roku TVs in my man cave. I'm a sports nut with multiple TVs in one room , like a sports bar. The only thing I don't like about it is that the volume controls are on the side and I am constantly accidently hitting them when I'm using the front panel controls. Otherwise it would be 5 stars instead of 4.

I bought two of these and both had dead batteries included. Both also did not have the correct WiFi attachment and Roku had to mail 2 of the. To me. The first package arrived unsealed with nothing in it. The second package arrive one month after contacting Roku with this issue. I wouldn’t buy this product unless you have time to wait for extra parts and are. It planning on taking it on vacation. It was non functioning on our vacation due to no batteries and incorrect WiFi connecting wire.

I've owned several units over the last 4-5 years. While they work, they are awesome but I've found they tend to die after 12-18 months. I tried to get around this be spending more and buying the Ultra unit only to have it flake out before 12 months were up. Now I just buy their cheapest unit and accept I'm going to have to buy another one in less that 2 years. I do like the service while it's working, hence not switching to another brand.

I bought one of these for my older Samsung smart tv and it works great. I bought one for my new Samsung smart tv and it worked from time to time. I thought it was the tv. Ut when I bought a Roku express 4K that one is flawless. The stick was the problem. Expensive mistake.

This streaming stick is fabulous because you can surf between channels quickly. The remote has volume control so I don't have to use one for TV and one for Roku. It has all kinds of fabulous things to do with the remote....like speak into it! such a Concept.

I own 3 streaming sticks and they are easy to setup and use initially. However only 1 is still in use because I have found problems develop over time. With one in the kitchen I could no longer use the volume or mute feature. With the one in the bedroom a buffering problem developed with the Spectrum channel. I resolved the voice remote issues by replacing the TV in the kitchen with the one from the bedroom when a new stick didn't resolve it and the buffering problem with a Roku TV.

I made this purchase in hopes of getting local and national stations that show the games for my two local NFL teams. This did not happen. I spent the money on this Roku and it is on one of my two smart T.V.'s. I see no advantage from the Roku T.V. to the T.V. with no Roku.

Many, many years ago I had a Roku. It was OK. When my son bought me a Firestick and a new TV a few years ago I was in awe. The firestick awe faded over time, but I didn't know I had an option with the new style TV. Enter the new Roku. Wow! Simple design, easy to use, so many options, easier on the eyes, so much to love! I only wish I could program the buttons on the remote to go to the apps I choose, rather than preset ones. Also, the screensavers aren't consistent (and weird when they have ads in the corner), but that's a small thing, relatively speaking. I've been able to watch a movies from beginning to end without having buffering problems. Move over, Firestick, Roku is in the house!
