Bought this for an older Vizio tv in the bedroom since I just started streaming. Unit works great until you want to go to a different remote. Needed a remote with backlight and since Roku doesn't have one went with a Terk. Nowhere in the installation/usage directions does Roku tell you the stick will not work with other brands of remotes. The non stick types will, but not the stick. Bought a Roku Express 4K+ and it works great with the Terk remote. So now I'm stuck with a Roku stick that's not even heavy enough to hold down papers :) Stick worked great, just wouldn't interact with other brand remote. Some verbiage on the box maybe would have helped in this regard?

I have been using Roku for years. I had been using the old version which connects via HDMI cables. This new one is soooo much better and faster. No wires and plugs directly into the hdmi port. Roku also has the best channels. I have Roku now in 5 of my 6 TVs around my house. Even in my garage!!!!!!! The voice remote is amazing. I’m actually going to buy Roku as Christmas gifts this year!!!!!!! Customer for life.

I wish I would have gotten this sooner. I have a Samsung tv that has no apps. I am now able to watch my apps because of Roku. I’ve lived years without cable and now I’m able to watch live free tv. Great investment for the price. I’ve been missing out.

I have 5 TV’s and all have ROKU. The last ROKU was having issues ( numerous). The Streaming Stick 4K is the best unit. Things to consider: 1. Follow the instructions regarding set up, especially regarding proximity to HDMI cables. 2. The remote(s) work great, however, the remote supplied with the stick doesn’t have an earphone jack. The remotes that do have an earphone jack, use a lot of energy. I was constantly replacing batteries. So, I purchased a ROKU remote that plugs in to recharge the sealed unit, however, it doesn’t have an earphone jack. I remedied the battery situation by purchasing rechargeable batteries.

I bought 2 Roku's a couple months ago to add streaming services to an older Sony Bravia and a Visio. I was able to set up all my services and add Direct TV too. Works great, easy to set up (if you have all your passwords), and even recognized the brand of the TV's.

I've been a Roku customer and fan since 2011. In my opinion, they've consistently had the most intuitive interface and best all around products of all streaming hardware and software I've seen or used. My new Streaming Stick is living up to the high expectations I have for any Roku product.

This Roku 4K streaming stick offers excellent picture quality. The picture is really clear and bright and there are various settings that let you customize color and tone. The device is small and can be powered by your tv, so you don’t have to worry about plugging this into a power strip. There are lots of apps preloaded and you can add on lots of others also. The remote offers voice control functionality, has volume buttons conveniently placed on the side, and has a couple shortcut buttons to quickly open some popular apps. This is a great little streaming device!

I like the new Roku because it works not using infrared but Bluetooth technology. The old Roku I have does not work very good I wish you would exchange it for me but it got to the point where I have to bring the control unit right up to the receiver. So would like another one please

I live on a fixed income, and cable tv had gone so expensive I had to drop it. I was going to an antenna when a friend told me about Roku. I'm very happy with it. I can watch what I want to watch when I want to watch it. Can't do this with cable tv. I knew there had to be another solution to Spectrum, which had priced their service out of my reach. For the most part, I am happy with Roku, but I wish they didn't have so many breaks in the programing for no reason.

We bought a smart TV a few years back, but it became so front-heavy with constantly updated and new added apps it was too slow and unwieldy to enjoy anymore. I bought a Roku stick as a last-ditch effort before buying a new TV and I'm so happy with the results I bought my son a new Roku TV for Christmas!
