Very simple to install-worked right out of the box. One small thing - it barely fit on our Samsung - they didn't leave quite enough space so the Roku is sort of jammed in there at a slight angle. If Roku could shave off a few mm and do compatibility testing with more models, it would be perfect.

Bought 2 of these back in December when we cut the cable. One worked just as it should, second one had Roku error 022 (which means defective & there isn’t anything you can do but return it). Replacement so far works as it should. It has some nice features like voice commands and the sheer number of apps it supports. One thing I think that NEEDS to be in the documentation is how to properly stop the streaming so your data doesn’t keep running in the background. We almost went over our 1.2TB data limit in less than 2 weeks! (and yes, the bandwidth cap limit option was checked in the settings). I do recommend these devices but be aware of the potential of getting a defective unit (our bad unit was assembled in Vietnam) and be diligent about stopping the streaming in the proper manner.

I enjoy Roku and all the apps it offers. The variety available one Roku if pretty great. Much better than paying high prices for cable services that provide no service. If I were to change anything on Roku, it would be to make a larger remote. My hubby has big hands and is always hitting wrong buttons.

I like that I can load my Roku with my favorite streaming apps and take it with me when I travel. That way, I can keep up with the series, spring events (tennis, NASCAR, etc.) that I like to keep up with. The streaming stock is compact and easy to pack when I travel. Been a Roku user for over 10 years.

My Roku remote for one of my TV's is no longer working correctly. I changed the batteries and it made no difference. I have to use the TV's remote to turn on the TV, turn up the sound and mute. The Roku remote works to find a channel and that's it. Since there is not a way to contact Roku I guess I am stuck!!

I am completely pleased with Roku and the content I am able to access except for 1 channel, FOX. I do have FOX Nation but I am not able to see some of my normal news shows I enjoyed on FOX. Ido not have DISH anymore which is why. Other than that I LOVE Roku!

We have an older LCD LG tv purchased 12-2008 that needed a ROKU device because I blessed someone with my older ones. The tv is not “smart”, but still functions well. We were gifted with a new larger smart TV that we purchased a ROKU Stream bar for.about 3 years ago. Our new ROKU Stick functions just as smoothly with the older TV as the Stream Bar functions with the newer TV- - -“smooth as silk”.

Beware! It may not work for your tv properly. I set it up and can access it just fine on my tv. The actual Roku works fine but it will not allow me to then go to my cable box! Every time I try to go to anything else other than the Roku it automatically defaults back to the Roku and won’t let me do anything else (other than the Roku). I do not recommend it at all.

Purchased to use on small Samsung tv in the kitchen. My wife complained that the smart tv was slow and always buffering. This Roku Streaming Stick is amazing. Excellent picture quality and great Wi-Fi connection. No buffering at all. Wife loves all the channels, but especially the Roku channel. Thinking of buying one for my 75" Samsung and cutting the cord. Highly recommend.

I've had the streaming stick for a couple of years now. We regularly take it with us on vacations and plug it into available televisions and they always work like a charm. I have a ROKU tv, 2 ROKU streaming boxes and the stick. They have all lasted and make our television viewing life easy and dependable. I highly doubt the veracity of the "one star" reviews. I've had too many different ROKU products and have never had issues with any of them over the years. I am a fan!
