Our Roku tv has become so sluggish, suffers frequent rebooting on its own that we bought this hoping it would cure the issue. While the picture is much better, the other problems (though less severe) still remain. The volume of Netflix is ridiculously low. Netflix is sluggish, the shows are slow to populate, and after exiting there is a good chance the next app will crash when we try to open it. I’ve been a fan and user sine the company started. I don’t understand what the problem is with Roku and Netflix. I don’t have issues with other apps.

The product works mostly as expected. I have found the volume control to be inconveniently located on the side of the device and it is unpredictable for which way it will establish control. Often when I tilt the rocker switch towards increase it will decrease the volume. This has been very frustrating, but I figured I'd just live with it. I have not been back to return it to the store because I have lost the reciept.

Bought this for TV at our mountain cabin. Internet is extremely slow and our TV was locking up after 30 minutes of streaming. I suspected that the TV had too little RAM to handle all the necessary buffering. Originally thought I would need to buy another TV but then decided to try the Roku. My problem was solved for about 20% of the price of replacing the TV. We can now watch streamed movies for hours with no more problems with locking up the TV. Great product and a great bargain.

I’ve used Roku for 2 years now. Started off with basic player. Worked very well for 2 years. Wanted to get upgrade so that I’d have volume and power buttons on remote and not need TV remote. Now I’m spoiled! I can also tell a difference in speed of opening channels and changing channels. After 2 years old player was getting sluggish. This one is fast! Super happy with purchase.

Streaming, loading as ops, etc is great, However, the Remot could be a lot better, as follows: 1-volume and mute buttons on wrong side of remote for right hand people (most people! ) should move to left side! . 2- need a button to change HDMI input(source) 3- pause,rewind fast forward should be bigger buttons, and moved up on the remote a little so they fall under your thumb better!

Bought to replace a old Roku stick which was actually working fine but the remote control was on its last leg. This new stick is much speedier and the remote control seems to be okay but (and this is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5) the buttons on the remote are super CLICKY and I really don't like that. I also am not crazy about how the Roku set-up wizard adds a bunch of channels I don't need so that I have to spend more time removing their bloat/promoted apps...so uncool. Other than that, this 4k stick is great and works pretty much as expected (minus those annoying clickety-clacky remote buttons)

Already had a Roku TV downstairs. Hooked up this streaming stick to my old flat screen upstairs, works like a champ. Easy to set up, had it working within 5 minutes. Sign on to my Roku account and Viola! My 15 year old flat screen is now a smart tv. Love it!

The Roku Streaming Stick is simple to set up, you just plug it into an HDMI port, activate the remote, and you're set. The remote controls the volume on the TV set. The Roku channel is comprehensive and will tune in Netflix, Amazon, PBS and many other streaming services. Roku makes it easy. When we go to our summer house, we'll take a Roku stick and remote to use there.

This is my forth Roku. It is simple to use and the remote controls basic tv needs. My big complaint is that you have to set up each Roku individually. It would be easier if your streaming information was saved in your user accounts and you could log into a new Roku and it would set it self up with all your channel logins.

I really this Streaming Stick. My wish is that the programming offered for free didn't show the same reruns over and over again. I also wish that the series would be complete and not only up to three episodes as in Sense and Sensibility for example. Lonesome Dove is another good example of only showing up to three episodes.
