We're sorry to read your comment about the YF22-3N1SPVS-SC mower. The speed is set to the standard set by OPEI (Outdoor Power Equipment Institute). This speed is determined to be the best speed for the walking pace of the average person operating a walk-behind mower in the US. Each person has a different walking pace based on their normal stride and preference of the speed they walk.

self drive failed

Plastic self drive pulley failed on 9th use. Still cuts grass, you just have no assistance.

Can’t use it.

Self propelled speed is too fast. I can’t keep up with it. That the only reason I bought it. There is no adjustment for the speed. Returning.
