i have no complaints about the product, but the customer service is horrible. Actually, that's not accurate, nonexistent is the word. i lost a bolt that caused the front of the mower to drop to the ground...3 weeks ago. i have called and I have emailed and have gotten zero response from the manufacturer

I like it since it cuts down the time to mow compared to my push lawn mower. however, this sucka is fast, almost pulls you and I wish you could adjust the speed. the mulch bag is small so be prepared to dump it multiple times depending on your lot size. this may be by design but I think the side discharge hood sits too low to the ground when attached, because any low dips in your yard it will come off. for now, it serves it's purpose until I get my riding lawn mower.

Works great for while

Purchased May 20, 2023. Worked great for the first year. Then the wheels locked up and the mower is useless, even as a push mower. I was going to get rid of it and but something more reliable but I see it has a two year warranty. I looked at it today and found the pulley on the drive wheel end is broken in half. any way to get that pulley using the warranty? Seems like a lot of money to rent a mower for a year.

Great Features. Big Dissapointment.

I thought the features on this mower were great and it was on sale at my local Sams Club. Big dissapointment. It did great for about 15 minutes and then started jerking when the drive was engaged. Within about 20 more minutes it was no longer self propelled. The rear wheel drive failed completely. Sams Club accepted the return with no problems, 5 stars to them.

3 year review from Florida

We have had the Yard Force for 3 years now, we bought it on sale for $350.00 at our local Sam's club branch, 3 years in and this is our official review. The mower starts every time with in 2 pulls, The assembly was easy, as noted during mowing using the bagging feature it does not seal well and blows clippings on the operator. We have not performed a single bit of maintenance on it other than cleaning it, until this weekend, so first time in 3 years. I found a few things, one the manual was not clear on how to check the Belt for the self propel as it stopped working a few months back and i could feel around inside the belt popped off the rear reducer. The Belt Cover is held on by 1 Bolt and 2 screws located at the rear of the belt area, very hard to find. Removed the cover and replaced the belt but it feels loose, so we see if it stays on, may have to replace that. Found also you cannot buy any universal blade for the mower as ours was worn, you better remember the model %23 and year of your machine and order it from the Yard Force site, it was a little disappointing could not use a universal blade, without having to replace the hole part that blade attaches too and no instructions in the manual on how to remove the blade holder on the shaft. So had to order a new blade from the Website. I also decided i would drain the oil that i put in the mower that came with it, and after 3 years of use it was black, so i drained the oil and replaced with Synthetic 10W-30 oil keeping it between the marks. Also going to replace the Spark Plug and Air Filter. Other than the blade issue so far the machine has handled the Florida heat and weather well, gets the job done. unsure if i would purchase this brand again, i mean it functions fine, but I'm skeptical on no oil change motor, and having to buy a special blade from them and remember model %23 and etc. to make sure get the correct blade is a little scary as if i make a mistake i have to spend $40 on another blade all because the pegs are angled and cant take a universal blade. Plus the bagging feature which i got because we compost, kind of hate having it spray back on me.

Good and bad

I bought and a have had for over a year works great starts right up every time but i don't stand it up and only use non ethanol gas but the only thing that sucks on this mower is the bag started using the bag this year to pick up leaves instead of racking and it sucks because top of bag and plastic doesn't have enough pressure to seal properly so it just shoots dirt ,dust , leaves and grass right at you as you mow behind it i tried everything i could to adjust it with no success,

Not Reliable

I bought this mower at the beginning of summer and it continues to give me issues. Sometimes it runs and I can cut my front and back yards and sometimes it'll start for 30 seconds and die. I've done all the trouble shooting, checked gas and oil levels and it continues to have issues. My brother has this exact mover and also says he has trouble when his grass is too long. The power doesn't seem to be there. I will be returning and looking for one at a local hardware store, so if I have issues I won't have to call a 1-800 number and be on eternal hold.

Needs Some Design Improvements

Powerful engine, steel deck,...But plastic pulley in the propulsion system, plastic bearings supporting the axles, plastic blocks connencting the lower and upper handles,..Not acceptable from durability aspect..Otherwise a great product for the price.

Yard Farce mower

Had the machine for three years now. Ready to kick it to the curb. It has always mowed very slow. It misses blades of grass here and there even after sharpening the blade and cleaning the bottom . The tip over sensors are becoming more sensitive wanting to kill the engine on bumps and around trees. If bagging, make sure it's completely dry clippings, because heavier clippings makes the self propel non existent. The height ratio seems lower in the front than the rear, very annoying.

I bought this mower a couple years ago to use at my camp to trim. You couldn’t give me another RWD self propelled push lawn mower. The drive belt has already broke. We can’t find another belt to fit. Please start selling the Honda self propelled mower with FWD. It’s the best push mower I’ve used.
