I purchased the French baguettes (x2 pack) coupla days ago. It looks great, but was dense and a little dry. Very chewy. Dipped coupla slices in pure Olive oil and toasted it in a Covection oven and it turned out palatable. Can't say I'm exactly pleased with the flavor and texture of it and probably would not recommend purchasing it.

Need to eat right away. Otherwise the bread hardens. Hard enough to use as a bat.

Both were with a long air pocket throughout! Have had decent ones before...

The bread was too tough and hard to chew. We threw it away.
