I've been a coffee drinker for 50 plus years. My grandma (rest her soul) made a brew stout enough to stand your spoon in - since she put some milk in hers to "help cool it off" - so she said. THAT'S what I learned to like - from making it to drinking it and all the steps between. Many years later I made the jump to REALLY good stuff when I was offered a pound of pure 100% Kona by my mother in law. She wanted me to take it to the store and grind it all up since when they visited Hawaii the seller at the plantation only offered whole bean. Anyway I ended up buying myself a cheap grinder and THAT began my journey to the TRULY dark side. I ventured into learning everything I could about the whole industry from history to cultivation to picking to drying to roasting and then to the many intricate ways of brewing a fine cup. For the decade I deployed to the Middle East my wife would mail me several pounds of beans every month and I made 3 or 4 French pressed canisters every day - my hooch was the coffee hangout, mainly for the senior NCOs since all the "kids" wanted was that awful energy drink crap. I now coarsely grind in the burr grinder my whole bean Death Wish coffee daily, get my water up to 190 deg F, add 7 heaping spoonful into my 1 liter stainless double wall double screened French press and do the first water steep just covering the grind for 1 minute. I jostle the canister then and add the rest or the water to the fill mark and lightly stir. I wait the proper 4 minutes and press. And bingo - the absolute most perfect cup of deep dark liquid gold I ever tasted. PERFECTION!

I have sadly not tried your coffee I would love to but I don't want to spend so much on coffee and not like it I'm very picky when it comes to my coffee very picky. I would mind to see maybe a sampler pack that smaller and maybe a lil cheaper! Just and idea!

I'm not saying there's a causation, but there was this piece of code I was working on for weeks that wasn't functioning properly. Once I received this coffee and had my first cup, the solution came down on me like Thor shocking me with his thunder like there's no tomorrow, then I went out and fixed it. It might not be a causation, but I'm definitely sure there's a correlation.

Where is the original blend? I started, for the first time in my life (I am 56) liking coffee. Then they made the package go away. Chelate and cherry is no good. Medium blend I can do without. My son n law gave me a cup of the original and I fell in love. I was drinking a pot a day. Now, im back to no coffee. Only 1 coffee has ever grabbed me and now I can find it. Like a Crack head looking for a fix. You burnt me.

First time trying DWC and I am hooked. I love the flavor, the fact that I no longer have to drink and entire pot of"the other brand" to wake up. I can drink one or two cups to get the same caffeine as a whole pot. I am hooked. Great Product! Highly recommend.

Death Wish is the best coffee I've had so far, with great flavor, whether you drink it black or fufu it up. Everyone who has tried a cup with or ordered some based on my recommendation as loved it as well. The office liked it so much they made it the main coffee to serve.

We Love the taste! Full flavored but not bitter or tangy like some other brands we have tried. I drink mine neat in my favorite DW mug and my wife likes her's with a bit of creamer and sugar. Holiday sales were great for gifting!!! Sent 5 pounder to Death Wish newbie's for Christmas and K-cups to daughter.

Besides the fact that the coffee smells and tastes amazing, it is actually the strongest coffee I've ever had, and does its job well. I have narcolepsy, and if I'm at my desk and feel an attack coming on, I just drink a cup of this stuff, straight black, and I'm good to go. Thanks to all you people who keep making this great coffee!

I ran out earlier this month and had to gonna week without this coffee. I didn't think I'd miss it I was wrong Death Wish coffee is ALWAYS my first cup. I will never run out again. I wish there was a storage container other than the bag(yes I know how great a bag is) But at 5 AM I don't want to mess with a bag

I bought this coffee for my husband who likes is coffee strong. We've tried all the common dark roasts and "strong" coffees available at the store, and sure some of them were ok but he was never super impressed with any of them. Then he got Death Wish for Christmas. He loves the taste and strength, but the caffeine boost he gets from this stuff is crazy! We have a week old baby and he had to go to work on 2 hours of sleep the other day (not safe I know) so he made a double size travel mug of Death Wish and took it with him. He drank all of it and said he felt like a spazz for the entire day! He didn't even start getting tired until the very end of his day! We will definitely continue buying this coffee!
