This coffee got my husband drinking coffee daily - and not those flavored drinks from Starbucks either. I've always been a black coffee person, but found that most coffee wasn't strong or dark enough. This roast has been a game changer! Pour over, drip, machine - it does it all. We enjoy ours pour over, with a splash of chocolate Nesquik syrup!

Flavor and intensity come from the roasting and brewing methods, not the amount of caffeine. In fact some lighter coffees tend to have more caffeine than dark roast because the caffeine does not burn off as much. Your coffee taste ok to me, but I'm concerned about the amount of caffeine I receive if I drink it like I drink normal coffee. I could easily go beyond safe limits with just one cup of Death Wish coffee.

I have been ordering your coffee for several years; when I ordered this last time, I wanted to order ground and had the choice between dark and medium roast ground. When the coffee came, the packaging said"world's strongest ground coffee." It was not identified as medium or dark roast, but we believe it was not the normal coffee that we love. Can you clarify for future ordering purposes?

Had my first cup a few months back, and all I can say is wow! So smooth and flavorful. Even tastes great after sitting in room temperature for 30 minutes! That's saying something. Flavors I pick up in Death Wish are dark chocolate, cherry, vanilla drizzle and a slight hint of almond. Valhalla Java is just as delicious, even with the different flavors. Valhalla's probably one of the most complex coffees I've ever had on the basis of flavor. Fruity, with hints of apple, pear, some guava along with some white chocolate and caramel overtones. Just amazing!! Not only is the coffee the best you will ever have hands down, how the company operates is just as awesome!! Very open to suggestions from customers, even for a recipe idea. Hands down the best coffee I have ever had. When I wake up I have a craving for it and start my day with it. Before Death Wish I was not a dark coffee guy but this changed my mind. I have tried other "strong" coffee but nothing compares. It's so smooth and flavorful. I won't drink anything else. It travels with me everywhere I go. I praise it to anyone that loves coffee. I have converted not only family but friends as well and they have converted others as well. Keep up the great blend.

This coffee is very strong at first I didn't like it and I thought it had a bitter after taste but what I realized is that this coffee takes an aquired taste so give it a week before reviewing it!! Absolutely amazing coffee bold strong worth every penny and it looks super intimidating to guests :)! I'm all about sugar and cream but with this I don't have to add a fraction of what I used to and right now I'm drinking death wish black!! I didn't feel a strong caffeine effect but everyone is different because sharing this coffee some did. I emailed the company who emailed me right back about my complaints with the best customer service I've ever had in general! No negativity, no attitude, didn't get annoyed by the abundance of emails I sent back and even explained different brewing methods to me in case that was the reason the taste was different. I will be buying more DW , merchandise, and offering customer ideas to help the team because I couldn't of asked for a better coffee and service!! Thank you death wish. Ps. Just buy don't think about it give your taste buds time to adjust you will be a true death wish customer.

I had to buy myself a glass milk jug to keep a batch of cold brew on hand. I used some of the patches and stickers to decorate my jug. Love the coffee and the swag that comes with it. I have a Phillips LatteGo espresso machine - so my beans are ground fresh daily. I drink my cold brew black and my hot brew with milk and a little sweetener

This coffee is not for those who enjoy muddy bean water. This coffee is for those who truly likes their coffee like their dark soul! Wake up feeling like a walking dead zombie? This brew will turn you into a resident evil, running like the devil is after you, living dead machine!

My husband and I were excited to try this coffee as we are both lovers of bold, dark roasts. I'm not a novice at brewing coffee so I was a bit perplexed when upon first sips, it tasted like water with a little cream. Even upon increasing the amount of coffee grounds used, the result was the same.

My sister gave us some death wish coffee as a gift last year. I was a tea drinker until I tried death wish coffee. Now I can't survive without it in the morning. It is strong, smooth and not at all bitter like most dark coffees tend to be. If you don't like coffee, death wish will change your mind.
