This coffee is the bomb. I was concerned that I might have to compromise a dark, smokey roast flavor for fear of clogging my espresso machine grinder. Death Wish met the challenge. No oily sheen and bean blend makes this a go to for dark roast lovers.

I’ve been purchasing this dark roast since 2019 specifically for cold brew coffee, and it’s been the best-tasting option I’ve used for that purpose. I tried the top 6–7 competitors for cold brew, and Death Wish Dark Roast came out on top for flavor. Even friends who weren’t familiar with the Death Wish brand really enjoyed it. Some even heated it up and drank it hot, and they said it was excellent that way too.

It tastes great and has a high caffeine content, although it is definitely not the world’s strongest coffee. If you are used to regular coffee, such as Starbucks, you will probably notice a strong caffeine kick at first. However, after drinking it regularly for a while, you may get used to it and start finding other coffees fairly weak.

I first discovered this coffee brand when I moved to St Pete, FL and bought it at the grocery store to try out. Next time I went, they were no longer carrying the whole beans so I started ordering on line. It is strong, smooth and perfectly flavored. It has become my favorite.

A five am wake-up for my wife’s job necessitated a new alternative for my night owl spouse. My search began by sourcing eight dark roast coffees and comparing them. The complex flavours and caffeine content enabled me to get her on the road for her commute with a satisfying kick. We are happy to consider it our new favourite.

We try other beans sometimes, but we keep coming back to Death Wish because they're the best...and they have kick@$$ merch!

I love Death Wish Coffee. The bold flavor is great for my morning to get me going. I signed up for the subscription so that I never have to worry that it will be out of stock at my local stores.

Is it strong tasting, yes..high caffeine, no. When you cook beans longer caffeine is released, higher caffeine is in lighter roast. My wife likes full flavor vs caffeine so it’s no stronger than other dark roast except Starbucks burns theirs so it’s not a good comparison.

NOT a dark roast. More like a Breakfast Blend.. Very weak flavor. Very dissapointed. NEVER buy again. In the trash it goes. Too late to return it.
