This coffee is very strong at first I didn't like it and I thought it had a bitter after taste but what I realized is that this coffee takes an aquired taste so give it a week before reviewing it!! Absolutely amazing coffee bold strong worth every penny and it looks super intimidating to guests :)! I'm all about sugar and cream but with this I don't have to add a fraction of what I used to and right now I'm drinking death wish black!! I didn't feel a strong caffeine effect but everyone is different because sharing this coffee some did. I emailed the company who emailed me right back about my complaints with the best customer service I've ever had in general! No negativity, no attitude, didn't get annoyed by the abundance of emails I sent back and even explained different brewing methods to me in case that was the reason the taste was different. I will be buying more DW , merchandise, and offering customer ideas to help the team because I couldn't of asked for a better coffee and service!! Thank you death wish. Ps. Just buy don't think about it give your taste buds time to adjust you will be a true death wish customer.

I will drink it until I die! There is nothing else that compares. The taste, the smell, the caffeine, it's all blended perfectly, every.single.time. And the customer service is always awesome too! :). Keep doing what you do best... making the BEST coffee!

So, I've been a coffee drinker since the ripe old age of 8. It takes a lot for a coffee to have any effect on me besides the regular"get rid of the headache from sleeping through my alarm." I had gotten my DWC on a fluke, someone sent me the link as a joke, I ordered figuring it was at least a good deal. When I first opened the package the coffee came in I was instantly transported to an umber nirvana and knew I was actually in for a treat. I went and made a pot even though it was 2100. This was a mistake! I should have waited till the morning, I didn't know this though. The coffee flavor was amazing and it actually had the kick that I've been searching for. I unfortunately finished that bag and I am getting ready to order another one this weekend. The flavor is amazing besides the amount of caffeine that it has. It's a rich flavor that isn't bitter or acidic it just hits the pallet wonderfully!

Got a bag as a gift. Ground some course, cold brewed it for 24 hours, hit it with a little simple syrup, and it was the best iced coffee I ever had!!! Smooth, delicious, rich, and had that kick. I love it cold and hot. Will be ordering some more very soon!

My first order was a 5lb bag of DWC from them early in 2013 when I was over in Afghanistan as a medic. At that point I was drinking 2 pots of coffee a day. Though that is not recommended. This is the best coffee I have found, full of flavor, smooth, always black, and I've never looked back since. I've been a loyal customer for the last 5 years and continue to do so. rich coffee!! I am 68 yrs old and it keeps me going!! I drink nothing but cold coffee and go thru 5lbs per month. Black is a bit to much drinking it cold but a bit of French vanilla smooths it right out. I do use a drip but would rather use a French press, but have not found a French press that makes enough. I like to make it ahead as I am pretty busy so i have 2 large drip machines. A 60 cup and a 55 cup so i can make it ahead and put in frig. Love it!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure I have a very large addiction to Coffee. I purchased this a few years back and Loved it. I don't remember if I had a different feeling in the morning boost. I do remember making it and upon drinking it, I was perked up. I had zero troubles drinking a few cups before bed and then going to sleep. However every morning there was no issue with not perking up with a cup. My favorite thing about Death Wish coffee, is that whenever I had a headache (Stress, Caffeine, dehydration, migraine) A cup of this cured it instantaneously. Not only can I enjoy it all times of the day, I can also be painless. I wish I could afford to buy more. Please support this amazing product.

Finally able to taste the coffee after my order months ago (I travel). This is hands down, the best coffee I've ever tried. I gotta admit it could taste and be alittle stronger and bolder. Everyone I've let try it can't handle it black and have to load it with sugar and creamer, so I don't let them drink it. Killed a pot the first day I was able to, didn't really have all the energy and motivation like other comments, but I savored the flavor at every sip. I drink it out of my Death Wish Coffee travel mug, and it goes EVERYWHERE I go!! Bought 5lbs of regular and 5lbs of Valhala so I should have enough to last me for a little bit, I WILL be ordering again to keep my stock up!!! My DWC hat will be here on Monday and I'll be rocking that like I'm a celebrity!!!!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS AND THE COFFEE!!!!!!

Just got it today, smelling the coffee from the bag, to smelling it freshly served, this is good stuff. Active coffee and tea drinker and wanted to try something unique. So...I got this and few other items (I'll review soon) from the site. This is a great flavor with or without the condiments such of cream or sugar.

I've always hated coffee, didn't like the smell or taste. I used to survive on so many energy drinks. Death wish on the other hand is a breed all it's own. After my roommate introduced me to it I've never looked back! It's so amazing I drink it black. There's no need for anything else! Only coffee I will drink!!! Cant wait for it to be sold in stores!! 100 stars!!!!
