I have been buying this coffee since I think they first started shipping overseas, possibly 2014? Anyway, during this extended period of absolute caffeination, I have proudly shared this coffee with many people, who all agree that it is the best coffee in, not only Australia but the entire planet. The name really confuses me because the coffee didn't grant my death wish, it actually brought me back from the dead. I become a full member of the walking dead in the morning and this badass cup of joe brought me right back with the living. Great taste and is as strong as they claim it is. Could not recommend this coffee more dammit.

You ever seen Highlander? You know what happens when they undergo the Quickening, absorbing the power of their slain opponent? That's the same effect you'll receive with this coffee. I'm a writer. I work from home. Great gig, but halfway through the day, I usually hit an afternoon slump that no amount of caffeine can fight against. Since drinking Deathwish Coffee, I couldn't even close my eyes if I wanted to. I'm on the verge of replacing my keyboard because of friction damage. My fingers blur across the keys faster than my eyes can follow. My clients sing my praises. They worship at my feet. All but one client has increased my pay by 100 fold, citing my incredible turnaround rates. One bought me a Rolex. Another gave me a Porsche. A third offered their firstborn daughter as a bride. If you drink this coffee, you won't regret it. Be wary if you own carpets, though -- I accidentally set mine on fire going to answer the door.

The coffee is strong but, it's only"ok" for it's excessive) price. Can it truly be that great of a challenge to ensure the the fold-able closure tab is in fact glued onto the bag, thus allowing the coffee to stay fresh? Just about every single bag I have ordered (except one) has had the tab just fall of or was not included with the coffee at all.

I've tasted coffee all over the country. I've even lived in Hawaii and used to only drink Kona w macadamia nuts roasts. That's a close second to death wish. By far, the Valhalla Java is the best tasting coffee out there. It's also sent to you fresh and never bitter or stale. I love this company and it has rekindled my love and enjoyment of coffee. The price is worth it for such a great tasting coffee. Keep up the good work guys!

Just recently moved to NY and when I found out their location was Less then an hour away, I HAD to go. The coffee is GREAT, it's why I drive to get there. Dark roast is my favorite and I make iced coffee simmer down the strength a bit. But the location and store itself was so legit and home-y in a sense. I loved the vibe and aesthetic.

I work about 70 ish hrs a week as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic. So long days & nights. Just had my first cup of this coffee today. And wow can I say the taste and aroma is whole next level. Absolutely delicious. My new go to without a doubt. Exceeded my expectations.

I'm normally a Valhalla Java drinker but decided to give the medium roast a go...Honestly nothing special. It drinks decent but the flavor is so-so. Maybe because I can't brew it like the directions want. I'll continue to drink it until it's gone then return to Valhalla...

I gave the coffee a four star review because it is delicious. I like coffee that is strong and not bitter and death wish coffee seems to fit that bill. However, the actual coffee didn't match the hype over it's caffeine level. I felt no difference. Otherwise, no problems with the order; delivery was timely; and, the coffee arrived fresh and well packaged.

We have tried the original Death Wish coffee twice. Once we ordered whole-bean from the site (along with the incredible Valhalla!) And we were so disappointed that it tasted like licking an ashtray. When we saw a bag of ground Deathwish at our grocery store we decided to take another chance on it and we were left equally disappointed. We tried auto-brewing and french press, and sugar and cream didn't help either. Either we managed to get two very stale bags or the brew has an intentional over-roasted ashtray flavor just doesn't strike our fancy. Still Valhalla is incredible, so maybe we were just unlucky.
