Flavor and intensity come from the roasting and brewing methods, not the amount of caffeine. In fact some lighter coffees tend to have more caffeine than dark roast because the caffeine does not burn off as much. Your coffee taste ok to me, but I'm concerned about the amount of caffeine I receive if I drink it like I drink normal coffee. I could easily go beyond safe limits with just one cup of Death Wish coffee.

I take great pleasure in drinking the dark roast coffee. I cant function with out my coffee and no one likes being around me unless I have had at least two cups of coffee. The dark roast really wakes me up and is a major impact of my day. I love the taste and the aroma the dark roast has.

My friend from far overseas told me about this brand in the first time I ever hear about it! and he said how you don't know about it while you live in L.A! I really didn't see it before in any place/store. My friend knows how much I am a BIG LOVER of the real bold dark roast coffee. Now after I made my third purchase I can say, really Death Wish Coffee is the best strongest tasty coffee I ever tried in all my life!. When I feel still sleepy after a long day before! while I wash my face I smile while I promise my silf that with the second sip of my new coffee I know I will be up in there with a tottaly waking up and freash in the same time! Thank you Death Wish for this awesome and wonderful coffee! I am waiting for you to start your coffee shops here in L.A.

I rarely write reviews for products but after my friend introduced me to deathwish, Ive limited my energy drink intake and still get my daily caffeine. I've worked 10-13hr graves for the last 8 yrs and I love having a strong black coffee to wake me up at night. You guys need to start selling course grinds for cold brews!

I love deathwish. Definitely what I need to get up at 4AM everyday. Then make a 2nd pot to get me thru doing work at home . Great taste for both original and the Valhalla java blend. You can see sell and smell the difference in the beans when you first open a bag of whole bean and taste the difference from the first sip. I will admit it is more than regular coffee but worth every penny.

Death Wish is the best coffee I've had so far, with great flavor, whether you drink it black or fufu it up. Everyone who has tried a cup with or ordered some based on my recommendation as loved it as well. The office liked it so much they made it the main coffee to serve.

Orrigional coffee that hooked my addiction, prefer Valhala Java but as it costs more per gram I typically save it for mornings when I can relax and enjoy it. Smooth flavor for dark roast, no noticeable aftertaste, sufficiently cafinated for my uses. Strong enough to motivate the sleepiest of miners.

For a Submarine Sailor, Death Wish coffee is a dream come true! It has all of the requirements of a pot of Mid-Watch coffee (Strength, Depth, Taste) without the detractors (Bitterness, Burned, Stale). After 17 deployments of between 85 and 118 days without surfacing or pulling into port, this coffee is a joy to my taste buds! I drink coffee nearly 24/7, so the time of day to enjoy this brew is anytime I sit down to relax. My son, a Marine, actually started me on this wonderful elixir of life. Prior to this, coffee was just coffee. Now, coffee is coffee, but Death Wish is Fantasy, Desert, Relaxation at it's finest! Don't try to substitute that burnt Starbucks crap or Dunkin' Donuts syrupy stuff: I want the REAL coffee - Death Wish Original. (The Dark Roast isn't bad, either!) I will top off my travel mug with a Death Wish Pod before I leave the house for ANY trip - even to the doctor! When they ask why my blood pressure is high, I tell them that their office elevates my blood pressure - they really hate that!

Recieved my shipment of Death Wish this week, was very excited since I have been wanting to try for quite some time! Have had at least one to a few cups per day since. I am very impressed with the flavor of this roast. However am unsure of the strength of it. Idk if maybe I have become immune to or developed a tolerance to caffeine but I just can't say I can really differentiate between Death Wish and my usual brands. Definitely not talking about Folgers, Maxwell house and your everday box store coffees. I usually only drink quality coffee. Like I said as far as flavor goes, this is now probably one of if not my favorite coffee. I just am not sure that I will be a returning/regular customer. If it had the kick in the pants I was expecting, I could certainly justify the cost of it but it just seems a bit steep compared to the price of their competitors. If i I based my rating on flavor alone and hadn't set my expectations so high for this brand I would definitely have given 5 stars. May return some time to try the Valhalla Java and Barrel Brand for a special occasion or when my wallet can afford to take the hit. If you can afford the price and love great flavor quality coffee is Death Wish is certainly worth trying.

I like dark roast coffee. The bag, in large letters boasted strongest dark roast. It had ZERO resemblance to coffee. Smelled very fruity, tasted NOTHING LIKE DARK Roast COFFEE... no flavor of coffee of ANY kind. I dug the bag out of the trash and In tiny letters said it was CHERRY. ???? WHY??
