I used to drink a lot of Red bulls every day and the people at the Refinery came up to me and said they were worried about me and wanted me to stop ... so I said ok I had never drunk coffee before and figured I better find something strong as Red bull, so I found DEATHWISH and ordered a 5-pound sack of beans, when I got them, I put them in a NINJA and ground the beans as fine as powdered sugar and put a whole cup of the coffee into my coffee maker I made a pot and let it cool while I got ready for work Then I made three 16-ounce cups with lot of sugar and honey and drank all 3 real fast before I walked out the door to go to work less than 2 miles away 5 minutes later As I picked up my coworker, I was gripping the steering wheel and saying over and over "it's too strong it's too strong "my coworker thought I did Coke and I said no it's the Coffee it's too strong Lol I was terrified I was going to die! My heart was pumping so hard and my temples on the side of my head were bulging with heartbeat lol When I pulled up to the office I got out on my hands and knees and puked thinking I am going to die. After I emptied my stomach, I felt surprisingly good But theres a reason its named DEATHWISH Yeah, you got to be careful when you drink this stuff because its powerful! I started to make a pot on Sunday night, and I would not need to change the coffee grounds until the next Sunday ... that stuff is strong! Good job! Now I only drink like 1 cup

Always Fresh. Smooth which is amazing because it offers a nice little caffeine bump. NO bitterness. No coffee related stomach pain EVER like you very often find in some of the light and medium roasts out there. Flavors nicely with a little piece of cinnamon stick, tiny piece of vanilla or even pumpkin spice

Wife and I have been ordering this coffee for close to 10 years. Lots of things have changed but this coffee is still the best. We've had a 5lb bag whole bean subscription for most of that time and its still the only coffee we use in our espresso machine. Makes perfect lattes, iced or hot, every time.

Recieved my shipment of Death Wish this week, was very excited since I have been wanting to try for quite some time! Have had at least one to a few cups per day since. I am very impressed with the flavor of this roast. However am unsure of the strength of it. Idk if maybe I have become immune to or developed a tolerance to caffeine but I just can't say I can really differentiate between Death Wish and my usual brands. Definitely not talking about Folgers, Maxwell house and your everday box store coffees. I usually only drink quality coffee. Like I said as far as flavor goes, this is now probably one of if not my favorite coffee. I just am not sure that I will be a returning/regular customer. If it had the kick in the pants I was expecting, I could certainly justify the cost of it but it just seems a bit steep compared to the price of their competitors. If i I based my rating on flavor alone and hadn't set my expectations so high for this brand I would definitely have given 5 stars. May return some time to try the Valhalla Java and Barrel Brand for a special occasion or when my wallet can afford to take the hit. If you can afford the price and love great flavor quality coffee is Death Wish is certainly worth trying.

I bought this for my boyfriend who loves coffee. We made our first cup the other day, added half and half and some brown sugar. I took a sip because it smelled so good and WOW! He messaged me the next day saying he'd been craving this coffee all day, and when he came over yesterday, he told me that he only had one cup of coffee that morning so he could have a cup of death wish at mine. I wish I could tolerate this much caffeine, it tastes sooo good!!! (Going to look for a decaf version). Bravo all at Death Wish!!

Seems someone doesn't know their US geography too well. Usually my ever so CHERISHED shipment either starts or goes through Reno, Nv and then comes to Albuquerque, NM! (We are located East of Arizona and West of Texas, South of Colorado and Just North of Mexico!) However, the last notification I got, it went from Reno to Columbus, Ohio! Hopefully it finds its way back to the 47th state. (withdrawal is starting to set in!) Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated. ( I think my legs have stopped working!)

I have a 'superautomatic' machine that grinds the beans just prior to making espresso or coffee. I fill up the holder, and it takes them as it needs them, grinds them and then dispenses the 'cakes'. My unfortunate experience is the beans are too oily, so it's clogging the system. i've tried dumping them out onto napkins, pat drying them and then putting them in. Problem is, though i love the result of the coffee in taste, i'm just not that committed. i have several pounds of beans to go through. Do you have a less oily bean option for future orders? And why are they oily?

Tried the pods for my kuerig first, was not impressed. The company asked me to try the coffee beans, I did. What an absolute difference. The coffee was smooth, but very intense - which is exactly like I like my coffee. Really delicious! Strong, but not bitter in the slightest. Very, very good coffee. Highly recommend!

Became a bit of a coffee snob after leaving a job that had a fresh grind coffee maker. Didn't know how good it was until going back to "commercial" coffee. Tried a bunch of "the best" coffee. But wound up back to Death Wish with a new coffee maker at home to grind beans daily and
