These Ciabatta Rolls are a must try!

I brought these tonight and had them for dinner. They were perfect - just the right amount of crunch and the inside of the bread was light and airy. Will try these with a fresh batch of bread dipping oil with fresh garlic and basil - it will taste fantastic.

Mold REALLY fast!

For the first two days they were great. By day four they were loaded with green mold. Just threw out the last four in the bag. This is not the first time having fresh bakery items mold so fast after I get them home. Makes me wonder how long they were on the store shelf before my purchase.

Before Sam's started carrying the ciabatta bread elsewhere. Recently Sam's had been out of stock ): I am so glad to see it is back in stock! It is delicious! Once I learned I can freeze it, I just put it in the air fryer for 4 o 5 minutes and it is yummy toasted.

NOT Like Before

We've enjoyed these in the past, but this time the rolls were very tough even after wrapped in foil and heated in the oven. I do not microwave bread because it tends to get chewy and tough- yet these were as tough as any microwaved bread I've been served. Half of them were thrown away because, despite smelling wonderful, nobody wanted a second one.

NOT CIABATTA!

Sam's changed recipe & packaging! Not made with sour dough, not ciabatta, covered with mold on 3rd day (normal yeast with cheap sugar), zero flavor, texture is horrible. Previous bags could breathe and bread didn't spoil. Shame on Sam's for even selling these.

I LOVE these Ciabatta rolls!

I buy these every time I shop at Sam's. No freshly baked bread products will last longer than a day or two, so I always freeze these (using zip-lock baggies, which hold 2 in each), then take out & microwave one (for 30 seconds, wrapped in a damp paper towel to refresh) for my daily meal. They're perfect for slicing & toasting, or dipping in soups, or just buttering & eating. I love the consistency; so much better than the wimpy sliced white 'breads.'

No rustic taste or texture in these rolls.

Used 3 of the 8 so far and will use the balance. Looks like the real deal, but IMO texture is all wrong. Lacking any taste difference between top crust, bottom crust and inside. Tried dry toasting under broiler, grilling with butter, just not getting what I want in texture and missing the tang I expect. It is a mass market item, not a craft bakery item,. Fair price to still earns 2 stars.

This wasn't ciabatta

The rolls we purchased last week from the Meridian Ms Sam's were very disappointing. Not sure if a mistake was made, or corners were cut, but the rolls were very dense, no holes like you would normally see in ciabatta and the taste was, well, like ordinary bread. Past rolls were as you'd expect, so we are going this was a one time mistake and not what this club will be producing in the future.

Excellent taste if you can eat all on day 1..

Molded all over 2nd day, didn't even open the bag yet. When to make my sandwich, saw spots, looked & green mold spots all over all the rolls. These are delicious but if you don't freeze them as soon as they are delivered, they mold in sealed bag! This is not first time it happened so not a fluke, must be lots of mold where these are made... No car so having to bring them in is a HUGE hassle, thanks for nothing Sam's Club.

A bit chewy & they mold quickly

I like to make these similar to a sausage cheese and egg McMuffin. They taste very good on day one and two and part of day three they start getting stale quickly thereafter and you'll find mold on them. I take what I need out of the package and put the rest in the freezer and then take them out as needed otherwise they're just wasted due to quick spoilage. You might have trouble chewing them with false teeth or a loose tooth because there are a bit firm and give your jaws a workout. I find putting them in the refrigerator slows down spoilage but increases the firmness of the texture and if I put them in the microwave and don't eat them very quickly they get real tough.
