I bought this almost a month ago and I love it! I am still learning all it can do. The microwave heats quick. I've used the oven to make fresh cookies. They were slightly crisp on the bottom and chewy in the middle. Perfect! The air fryer is also excellent. I tried raw, battered chicken which didn't come out well but I will play with the recipe and try again. I believe it was user error. Frozen pizza in the air fryer came out crisp and cooked through. I am very impressed with this product!

There's a reason you don't see many Air Fryer/Microwave combos out there. Bought this and tried to love it but just couldn't. Difficult to just get something microwaved. The biggest issue is microwaving something after you just used the air fryer. The interior is nearly 400 degrees, forget about placing any Tupperware in there to microwave something. You'll need to keep the door open and wait 20 mins to let it cool down and let the rest of your food get cold before you're able to use the microwave function. This combo idea is valiant, just not practical.

I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about this product. We have had hours for several months and I have zero complaints, except for maybe the amount of clearance that it requires, but I understand why it needs that. If you are looking for an appliance that is an all-in-one, then this is a great option to eliminate multiple small appliances sitting on your counter. So glad we took the plunge and purchased this.

Manual says minimum clearance,of 3 in. required around the appliance, one side must be open and minimum of 12 in. above the appliance. This limits where one might put it on your counter. Did airfryed chicken at 425 degrees F as recommended and, with an oven thermometer on top, it reached 125 degrees F during the 36 minute cycle. There were 5 boneless thighs and they did turn out crispy and tasty. There was no recipe book as mentioned in the description but there were 3 pages containing 7 recipes in the manual. The cooking time was disappointing as it was felt that one could oven fry the chicken in our electric range for about the same time. In keeping with Sam's much appreciated 60 day return policy we will be returning the Power XL for a refund.

I bought this PowerXL Air Fryer mostly for the the air fryer function, but so far I have not been able to get it to work for me. 2nd, the front panel does not look anything like the picture on the box or even on Sam's sight. The only two function that I've gotten to work for me is the microwave (which is only 1000W BTW) & the bake function. I tried to air fry a piece of fish however when the time was showing finished it was still frozen in the middle. I am considering returning to Sam's club if I can't get the air fryer to work, which is the only reason I bought this thing to begin with. I wish that the front panel really had the same layout with all the settings and so forth, but the one that I have does NOT! Maybe I'm missing something in the setup process; I don't believe so though because I've followed every notation in the manual without success so far.

Quality control? I bought 2 of these from Walmart and both were defective. Microwave worked just fine but if you used the bake or air fryer function the unit would shut down every time. When I say shut down I mean like you unplugged the whole unit. It would then take 15 to 30 minutes for the unit to come back to life only to shut down again if you used the bake or air fryer. Buy at your risk but I'm tired of reboxing this to return it. Never a PowerXL product again for me.

I was excited about the prospect of having an all in one oven. Husband said he needed a crane to bring it in from the car. Finally wrangled the huge unit out of box only to read it requires a 12” top clearance for venting. It cannot go under a top cupboard. Took a lot of work to get it back in the box and haul it back.

I only had this micro for a week and this whole week iv been wondering is it supposed to make that much noise like if the fan is touching something everytime I use it its the same noise I'm worried if I should return it and get another one because I never heard a micro make so much noise?

After six months it developed a short and will blow any circuit breaker in my house. I have tried it with nothing else plugged in and it still trips it. Microwave function works well for a couple of months, then it intermittently works. Air fryer is horrible and it takes as long as my oven to cook things.

Owners manual diagram shows a minimum of 12" above for clearance. This will NOT fit on a countertop under a standard wall cabinet or in a cabinet designed for a microwave! The microwave was also very weak, it will take longer cooking times than a standard microwave. I returned mine due to the clearance issue, but was also very disappointed in the low power microwave!
