[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the manual razor with the flex ball with the Active Sport Gel and it works great. My shave lasts longer than when I use an electric razor. The Gel works great and leaves your skin super smooth and has a very nice scent to go with it. I do wonder how much better, if any, having the Power option for the razor would be. I would definitely recommend the starter kit in case you are weary on the FlexBall or even their new Gels

After a few weeks of use I can safely say that this razor is very well made and a high quality product. The biggest test dry-shaving with the razor, and this one passed without a hitch. Not once did it snag or catch and that is something special among razors when dry-shaving. I'll definitely be buying more of these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found Gillette fusion proglide handle to be of great comfort to hold while shaving not only the shape and size but the rubber grips give you a sure grip of the handle even when hands or handle is wet.

These days it seems that Gillette comes out with a new razor each and every year. My first impression of this razor, is that it is heavy. That could be due to the added new features of the Flexball. The weight is not an issue and lends to the feel of a high quality razor. I was disappointed that the trial pack did not come with any extra cartridges. The pack comes with one cartridge and the razor. These days the cost of cartridges for these razors can get pricey. Once good thing about the cartridge is that there doesn't seem to be any major changes that would force you to purchase any special "Flexball Only" cartridges. With that said, I really like the new design and the closeness of the shave.

Very impressed by the latest Fusion Proglide razor. The swivel "ball" center definitely made a tremendous difference getting the pesky hair that generally hides in patches on my neck and curves of my jaw line. I only have moderate facial hair, but it's thick and coarse, and this razor more than did the trick. Looking forward to trying the electric version, as I only have the manual.

My review is a qualified rave. I was very impressed with the feel of this razor. It has heft and nice balance. It does give a very close shave and doesn't tug your skin, a smooth shave. The battery didn't seem to do much, in my opinion. I previously used a Mach 3 and love that razor. For me to change, it would have to be one terrific razor. This one comes close, but considering the extra cost, I'll probably stay with the Mach 3. I received this razor from Gilette and I'll always be a Gilette customer. Thanks.

Long ago are the days of me pulling and tugging at my chin or cheeks to get the closest shave possible. The Fusion ProGlide Razor with FlexBall technology is super smooth. The razor hugs every contour of my face. If you haven't tried this razor yet, race out to your local store and get it or send the wifey...whatever, just get it. ☺

It's about time someone developed a real razor that actually cuts close..not quite as close as a straight blade but by far the closest to it out there. Now if you could only make a razor that cuts as close but stays sharp for a longer period of time. Then again I guess I can see how that would be bad for business. Keep up the good work
