Before trying this product, I would refrain from using razors. My neck would get irritated and bumpy within minutes after shaving so I have always used an electric shaver. This razor was very smooth and moved flawlessly throughout my neck and was the smoothest shave that I have ever had. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for that real, close, and comfortable shave!

My past week experience with the new Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor with Flexball (a mouthful of a name) has been quite positive. At first I thought that the Flexball was a gimmick and was wondering if it was a way to change-out my stock of Fusion razor refills, but it turns out I was wrong. The Flexball feature works great at helping the razor blades match facial contour, noticeable even though I _though_ I was doing a good job manually. Also, as I noticed in the shape and printed on the packaging, it takes standard Fusion razor refills. There is reason to pick up newer refills, however, as the blades have changed for the better in the Flexball razor: thinner, finer blades resulting in less tug (from their box). So far, the less tug claim rings true. :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was at first worried about the flex ball up against my face, especially if I am in a hurry. Gillette makes great razors so I went in trusting that this was in line with their other products. I liked the comfort of the flexing and materials. It felt good in my hand and on my face, but I took things slow. It ended up being a good quality product. I am not a fan of the mega-blade cartridges. I typically use a 2 blade Gillette product. It just gives me a closer feeling shave, easier to clean, and seems to last longer. That's my only hesitation on buying something like this.

Being 61 I have been through all of the cartridge razor inventions in the last forty years. I had recently been toying with returning to the old way of shaving with a double edge razor until I tried this new razor. As corny as it sounds, there really is a difference. Reading various reviews of safety razor shaving, various posters always noted that they didn't cut themselves very much and that after a month they got the hang of DE shaving. Then it occurred to me that I haven't cut myself in a very long time and I haven't had a styptic pencil in my kit in years. I think Gillette has some work to do to top this product. Terrific shave with no danger.

The Gillette Fusion ProGlide Manual cartridge has proven to be a very good blade. The ProGlide is true to its name as it did just that....glide across the surface of my face. Normally, I use an electric shaver but if I ever thought about replacing it, it would be with the ProGlide. However, it did tug and pull just a bit when I used it for the first time. I'm guessing it is because of texture of my facial hair but once I got it going it was pretty smooth. Robert Mangum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always had really sensitive skin, but the way this razor contours to the face help me get a much cleaner, closer shave. It leaves out a lot of the irritation that I've experienced with disposable razors in the past. I will definitely be shavin on a regular basis now that I've found the pro glide razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. I've used Gilette razors before -- even an earlier version of the Fusion, but this blade is a whole new ballgame. The swiveling head stays close and allows for a tight shave without any burn. I also found earlier versions (admittedly, a few years ago) to have a tendency to clog up, become difficult to clear and to thus only offer a spotty shave. Not this version. It rinses clean (maybe because I was also using the great Gilette gel -- Alpine Clean) and has held it's edge for over a week now. I'm still smooth as glass well into the afternoon.

The FlexBall technology makes sure there is no collateral damage, while maintain razor coverage in easy-to-miss spots. 5 out of 5 stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can i say. All expectations were met and more. What i thought would happen happened. This razor multi blade worked like magic, and shaved my face leaving my skin smooth as silk. Sometimes i have to watch the way i shave with certain razors due to razor burn in areas of my face, but this razor! Of course the shaving cream should take some credit, but i can feel the quality a razor when its a good one. Cheers bzz agent to another successful product. Keep em coming this one i really enjoy!
