[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While not the usual shave with a razor guy for day to day maintenance, i do prefer using a blade after a few days worth of growth.. say after the weekend. cracked open this demo razor this past weekend and was found it to do a good job with only soap, no shaving creme. I was left whole as well, no nicks or scratches to deal with. overall, the whole package, flexball and all worked well and as expected. absolutely no complaints and i'll be opting to keep the handle around for a good while to come.

I've used A LOT of different types of razors and I'm still looking for the perfect one. My facial hair is thick and slightly curly. I received the Fusion ProGlide Razor with FlexBall handle from the manufacturer in order to test the product. I've used it twice now. I'm not sure if it was the thinner blades or the FlexBall design, but this was definitely one of the closest, most comfortable shaves I have ever received. The razors glided smoothly for the entire shave and left no irritation or cuts. The shave was rather effortless. And it was really close. I usually have to go over thick patches a few times, but that wasn't necessary with this new Fusion ProGlide. Maybe that is why it was easier on my skin. My one issue with this razor is that the blades are right in the middle of a slightly large head. As a result, it is hard to do precise trimming, like around sideburns or under the nose. I found I could not get the blades into the exact places I wanted to put them because the razor head was in the way. And I didn't find the trimmer on the back to be very useful. Aside from the detailing, however, this was the best razor I have ever used. I would still recommend it.

I have used every model of the Gillette fusion razor that has come out. I love the Gillette fusion models. The flexball is the best of the model. The handle has a good balance and the flexball allows the head to move freely with the contours of my face. I no longer need to stretch my face in all directions to get the hair hidden in the different contours. I no longer have to go in all different directions to get the hairs. The razor burn from constantly shaving in all directions over the same area. I love my new flexball. I would just suggest that Gillette make it known that the regular blades fit the new flexball.

When he uses it he gets the closest shave ever... that's why I love it. Not only does he shave his face but he shaves his head too. Who doesn't like a gorgeous, smooth, bald head.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the PowerGlide razor and it really works nicely and shaves close without cutting or irritating my face and head. I liked the idea that the FlexBall might even be an improvement over that, since it would pivot. While it works very well on the chin and jawline, I find that a regular manual razor just doesn't shave as closely as the powered version. Maybe had I not already been using the power version, this would have been great. It also irritated my head much more after two shaves than the PowerGlide. Compared to the Mach3 I used to use and still occasionally use on my face, this FlexBall is better. It shaves closer and conforms and follows your jawline much better than the old Mach3. I haven't used the cream yet, but will try that out at some point also.

Seems to be just a marketing campaign, no real added functionality to the flexball as it is too stiff to easily roll around and flex to the curvature of my face.

When I first started shaving with it I thought it was no different than any of the other Gillette razor I've used before. But then I noticed how effortlessly it was to get a smooth shave. No more going over the hard to reach areas and sharp contours of my face.when I was finished I had an incredibly smooth, clean shave with little effort. I would recommend this to anyone that uses a traditional razor and wants a good shave.

I'm a little disappointed. The razor is okay as far as the blades go. Great smooth shave. The high quality I've come to expect from Gillette but the FlexBall handle did nothing for me. I really didn't notice any easier time getting around my tough spots. So that's why the 3 stars. If I was rating the blades only its a 5.
