[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried the Fusion ProGlide razor before, and did not particularly like it. This time was no different. Now, for the first two-three shaves, it does give decent results, if you are careful, but no better than what I get using a good old double-edge safety razor. All those multiple blades might, theoretically, "shave" a pass from the number needed to achieve good results, but really I do think it would have been much better if the manufacturer invested less into ever increasing number of blades, and more into the quality of the steel used. Not only does the space between the blades get clogged very quickly, but more annoyingly blades, even though there are so many of them, get dull much quicker than a single quality safety blade does. Another annoying this is what Gillette claims as the major advantage of the product: the pivoting head. I could understand the advantage of the blade itself being able to bend and contort to contours of my face. All it does, however, is simply rotating the entire head. Which is (not surprisingly) exactly the same effect as if I were to slightly turn my hand. Except that when I do it myself, I have full control over where it turns. With that FlexBall thingie, it just spins where it wants. Overall, this is an OK razor, but you can do better either by getting a cheaper Fusion (or similar) that does not spin, or by going with a safety razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the problems I've had with nearly all razors I've used is my fingers sliding down the handle as the shaving progresses. I end up griping it just behind the blade ... The Fusion Pro Glide provided by Gillette was very comfortable, heavy enough to feel balanced in my hand, and no slipping down the handle whatsoever. Excellent design.

It goes through my beard like a hot knife through butter. I feel more 'Merican when I use it. If you buy it make sure you have plenty of time in the mornings to shave because you will be using it every day. I promise!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been shaving for over 40 years. When I first starting shaving I used individual blades. Actually other than a straight razor, that was pretty much your options. Later on when the price of electrics were more reasonable I switched to those. I'm amazed at how this razor glides over your skin and around your chin and cheeks. The closeness of the shave is actually not that surprising. After all that's what most razors do. The best thing about the razor is the FlexBall technology. Its so much easier than most razors because it will naturally follow the contours of your face. After I used it a few times my wife took it away from me. She likes it so well that I was informed I'm not getting it back.

The razor destroyed my previous fusion razor in every aspect. Aesthetic, comfort, smoothness, and contour. The razor is very forgiving and gives an extremely close shave. It makes shaving very quick and enjoyable. The flex ball looks like a tiny basketball, and pivots with ease and elegance to your every move. Love this new razor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a wonderfully close shave with the Gillette Fusion ProGuide Razor. The new technology in this razor allowed for a precise and easy shave. The roller ball allows the razor to glide across your face and turn on a dime. I also used the Alpine Clean shave gel which was a great smelling gel that did a great job of mosturizing my skin. Gillette got it right with these two new products! If you are looking to get a better shave then try these products. Your face will thank you!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use to dream of shaving in the morning but now I honestly look forward to it. I have sensitive skin and a very defined chin dimple so I always had razor burn and cuts around my chin. But not anymore this new razor with its pivoting head make it glide around with no cuts. And this new sensitive two in one shave gel is amazing it makes shaving so smooth and has really cut back my razor burn. It is so noticeable that almost all my male coworkers asked what I was doing differently they were all surprised when I told them it was just a combo of new razor and new shaving gel.

Gillette has been making razors for over 100 years. I have been using their products for over 15 years. I started shaving with an electric. I hated it. I then started to use the disposable razors. Again ? I hated it. I then found the Mach III by Gillette. What an amazing feat! It was perfect, so I thought. Every year or so, Gillette would come out with a new blade. I always thought, wow ? it cannot be as good as the one I am using. However ? every year, they prove me wrong. Gillette?s most recent Fusion Proglide is by far, the best razor I have ever used. I was not a fan of the vibrating handle, so I was skeptical of this campaign. Would I like a handle that bends or flexes while I shave? Would it bend too much? First, I took the product out of the packaging. It felt great. The Flexball handle was very solid. It didn?t flex too much. I moved it side to side, it was just enough, or so I thought. Today was the 3rd day I went without shaving. I really wanted to push this razor to the test. At first, I shaved my neck that is where I always start. It curved, perfectly. No longer did the razor pull. It actually corrected where I pulled a bit too much. Next, I went to the cheeks, it did great. It went right around my chin perfectly, curving as needed. It flexed just enough, perfectly. Even when edging my side burns, it didn?t flex to the point where it messed up my edges. Overall, I would highly recommend using this handle, and replacing the handle you have. If you have never used Gillette?s premier blade, this is an obvious pick. I wasn?t a fan of the powered handle, but I am definitely a fan of the flexball handle!

This past week, I received a free Fusion Proglide through a program run by Gillette. I have been using the fusion system for years, but this new version (the Proglide) of the Fusion razor cartridge is the best yet. The improvement on the blades make them sharper and last longer. The only fault I see is the lack of a protective cover on the single precision blade on the back. I have cut myself several times in the past and wish there was a way to cover or remove that blade. Regardless of this one problem I see, this is the best manual shaving system on the market today.
