I received the Gilette Fusion Proglide Razor through a program with Gillette and I recently tried it out. I have been using an electric razor for years now and so I forgot how close a shave a manual razor can give! I've used the Gillette razor the past several days now and it works like a charm. Gives a close shave without any cuts or razor burn. This may be my new favorite razor!

Vibration and a million blades do not make much of a difference. However, I don't have a straight face or jaw line and therefore a blade that moves with the couture of my skin really does a better job. Not only is it a smoother shave, but also a quicker one. Less strokes require less time and less gel. Also, with fewer strokes the blade doesn't dull as quickly either. Making these blades last longer I don't have to go through one a week like some mail in services who claim to be cheaper but yearly costs are about the same and more wasteful. In the long run this saves time, blades, and gel. Great option and finally a change to the razor that is worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still loving the Fusion ProGlide Razor with FlexBall handle technology. It still provided a close smooth shave after a few weeks or usage. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the price of the refill razors are outrageous.

When i first got the razor I inspected the package and read everything about pro fusion Pro-Glide razor. Then used it for three times before I decided I would make up my mind if I liked it or not. I was very impressed about the closeness and comfort of the shave and the size of the blades, I did notice the cooling jell for razor burn, I am very satisfied and will use this product again.

Along with the blue aluminum on the top front and back of razor blade, this thing looks slick. I do wish the pivoting part was metal instead of plastic, but that would not keep me from buying it. This thing looks and feels nice. Now for the shaving part...WOW! This thing shaves my face like a warm knife through butter. My fave ends up soft and smooth with no razor burn, bumps or bleeding. I walk out with a perfect barbershop looking shave. Whoever thought of this pivoting head is brilliant! You will not be disappointed once you try this razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got my BzzAgent kit and have been using the Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor for the past week. What a difference from the razors of the past! From the first shave there was a marked smoothness and closeness with this razor. The five blades and flexball keep continual and even contact to the skin no matter how you hold the handle. For someone who has avoided razor shaving this was a surprise. It's been closer than a good electric razor and starts the day off very smooth. For me the time spent shaving with the ProGlide razor has been about the same as shaving with the electric razor. The major downside is the ongoing cost of purchasing razors and shaving gel. Though it all depends on how often you need to change blades and what price you paid, it seems that you will be paying more in the long run over a good electric razor. It all depends on what you value most--a closer shave or a smaller cost. So if you're looking for a very close shave then you need to give this one a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving this razor for free from Gillette, i cracked the packaging open and inspected the razor. First thought: Feels a bit more robust than the other Gillette ProGiled (the one with the motor in it) I have. The handle feels vary solid, and has nice rubber grips on it. Upon inspecting the "Flexball" feature, the best way I can describe it is, its similar to the Dyson Ball vacuums. No matter what position your hand is at, the blades stay flat against your skin. It also has a spring that bring the blade angle back to 0 when pressure is removed. I was a bit intrigued by the idea so I pulled out my shaving cream and got ready to test it out. First shave: I hadn't shaved in a week, so my facial hair was a bit longer than I normally let it go. I lathered up and started the shave. The flex technology seemed to work well, I went a little wild with my hand location relative to my face and the blades were flat on my skin. I did notice that i had to go over a few places more than once (docked one star for this). Post Shave: My skin feels nice and smooth. At the time of my shave (in the evening) I was not blown away by the new technology but after thinking about it, this will be nice in the early morning before work to give a bit of a buffer for those early morning pre-coffee shaves. Final Thought: I'm pleased with the new razor. I'm glad that Gillette continue to use the same blade latching system, so I can keep using the extra blades I have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping that the ProGlide would provide a better shave than just the fusion razor. It doesn't. The ProGlide seems to be just a gimmick that doesn't deliver. It's still a fine razor, but no better than the previous one. The pictures also made it seem sturdily built -- in reality it looks like the swivel will break after a year or so of use.

I enjoyed the flex-ball technology and did not suffer the cuts and abrasions I usually do around the neck and especially the adams apple. I was also able to trim accurately the "line" of my beard. I will continue to use the new razor with confidence.

The razor was so smooth. It glides over all of the edges of your face. I felt way more confident that I was not going to cut my face. I think the technology is genius. I have always used Gillette and this razor is consistent with the image they convey, and the quality is exactly up to par. I will most likely stick with this razor from here on out.
