I had been thinking of trying a new razor for a while, even considering an electric razor. I usually shave once a week, and have for years. I got the razor through a trial program through Gillette. I thought this would be a good time to try a different product, as I was changing my shaving routine to something a little more frequent than before... The razor was designed for sensitive skin, which is right up my alley. Being African-American, I have always worried about skin burns and razor bumps. The first week in I shaved three times, being every other day with NO problems whatsoever ! I use a shaving cream, and other than this razor being different than what I use, there was NO change in my routine. The shave is close, and comfortable. I didn't have to think about the blades, just shaving. I also wear a goatee, and the single blade in the rear of the razor gave me a nice line on each side. Best part of a good shave is my girl of 8 years complimenting me on it the next day after the first use of the PROGLIDE. I have known the Proglide was out there, just stuck in my grooming habits as most people are. Over the holiday weekend I bought ANOTHER Proglide with the multi-razor pack. VERY happy with this razor. It gives a great shave getting everything while leaving my face smooth. It does not yank out any hairs and goes smoothly with the contour of my face. That's how I felt when I got my Fusion ProGlide manual razor with FlexBall Technology courtesy of BzzAgent. It had been a while since I used a Gillette razor, I switched to electric for convenience and used a humble twin manual razor for closeness on the weekends, so using a manual with double the amount of blades (plus a fifth on the back for edging) was a bit intimidating at first. And when I first heard about the new FlexBall technology awhile ago, I assumed it was some gimmick for Gillette to sell more varieties of razors. But sure enough the additional blades helped to give me an even smoother shave than the twin razor I used, and the FlexBall truly did aid in hugging to the contours of my face, namely going from cheek to chin to throat and keeping a good grip with minimal cuts and nics. All you have to do is apply consistent pressure for it to be effective. But whatever you do, while shaving, DO NOT PUSH ON THE FLEXBALL! That is the cartridge release and not well marked. Overall, I was able to get a very close, smooth shave in about the same time as using the electric. Definitely a win. #Sponsored #FlexBall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] By far, Gillette Flexball razor is the best, closet shave I have gotten. And I've been a Gillette consumer since I used Trac II, my first razor. The quality of the razor and the closeness of the shave improves with each innovation, they improve upon themselves. I happen to enjoy shaving, it's not just a ritual for me, and I shave daily. The flexball razor fits comfortably in my hand, and I prefer the power razor version. I get the same close shave with manual and power razors, but like the way the power razor effortlessly glides across my face.

I have used Match 3 turbo for more than a decade and I was always happy. I bought this new proGlide model and I am extremely disappointed. It's not sharp and blades don't catch hairs efficiently maybe because blades are too close to each other and lots of hair sticks in between. None of these happened to me before while using Match3 turbo!!! It's a painful, full of effort and time consuming experience and it cuts my face frequently because i have to put lots of pressure on it. The rotating gimmick is useless too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am only 3 shaves into using this razor, and so far, it has been a great experience. The included shave gel works well with the razor. The razor does not pull like my old razor did, and I have not experienced any cuts. It truly does contour to your face. I am able to work around a small chin strap without messing up the ling of it, due to the flexball technology. I will update this as I shave more with the product!

I just recently got this razor through a program that Gillette sponsored, and was pleasantly surprised at how lightweight it was. The blades are super sharp and amazingly flexible. I have used many razors over the years, but they never gave me this close of a shave without a lot of effort. I would gladly recommend this razor to all of my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The swivel really helps cover more surface area with less movement. Hands down, this is the best shave I have experienced. No irritation, smooth skin, and it took about half of the time I normally do while shaving. Great razor!

If you are looking a little bit rough I would highly suggest the new Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor with the NEW flexball handle. I have been a loyal Gillette brand user for several years now, I was even using the Gillette Fusion Proglide prior to being given the opportunity to try out this new product from Gillette. I get a much closer shave with the the new razor, the Flexball handle really sticks to my faces curves and contours, giving me a much closer shave with much less effort. If your face is sensitive like mine, or you just want an easier way to shave, or even if you just want a little bit of a closer shave than what you are used to I would HIGHLY recommend picking up one of these new razors to try yourself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Fusion ProGlide manual razor with FlexBall Technology prior to this campaign and was quite impressed. This time around I put it to the test after growing out my facial hair for 3-4 weeks. Here's a breakdown of how I thought it performed: Pros: I like how the handle fit in my hand and moved with ease. The weight was just right, too. The best part, though, is the FlexBall because I always hated shaving along my jaw line. With this razor, I was able to shave along my jaw line from ear to ear all while it subtly shifted to the contours. I usually end up nicking myself once or twice trying to shave up or down along that area, but made it out without a drop of blood. I was also impressed with the closeness of the shave and the smooth/fresh feeling afterward, especially considering the razor had to cut through a month-old rugged beard. Cons: The wear strip was nearly warn down after the 10 minutes it took to free my face from the clutches of facial hair. With other Gillette razors in the past, I could usually get 4-5 shaves out of a razor head before it needed to be replaced. This one doesn't seem to have quite the longevity, which is a bummer considering the pricey cost of new cartridges. I also had to go over several areas of my face multiple times to completely clean it up, especially my neck. Overall, I definitely recommend the Fusion ProGlide manual razor with FlexBall Technology because it makes shaving a lot easier and less painful. While I think a battery operated/powered version of this razor would provide a much smoother and easier shave, you still can't beat its closeness and ability to get the job done right.
