I have a Merkur Futur, raun Series 7, and I use the Executive Dollar Shave Club razor. The Proglide razor felt better than all of the others. The handle is comfortable in the hand. The blades slide effortlessly though my beard. I grow a thick beard. This razor powered through without snagging or cutting. The shave gel has a nice scent and a thick lather. It was on par with any other quality gel or foam I use. The rust proof can is a nice feature.

You do not even feel any pain or discomfort when shaving with this. This razor feels great in my hand and it also feels great on my skin. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried both the Gillette Fusion Pro Glide Razor and also the Gillette 2-in-1 Gel and Skin Care products. I am thoroughly happy and impressed with both of them in their effectiveness of giving me a close and smooth shave. The razor semms to glide by itself with litle or no force and gets the hair off in 1 stroke with no pulling of any of it. The shave gel goes on smooth, stays in place when shaving, and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth when finished. The other razors and gels I have used in the past left my skin feeling "hot", and sore when finished, along with some razor bumps. Using the 2 Gillette products is like a night and day difference and I would recommend them to others. I am so pleased that I was able to test them and see what and how a perfect shave truly is. I also am a huge fan of the trimmer: straight line every time! In the past, I've suffered from razor bumps after shaving...not with the Proglide. I highly recommend this product to every man that wants a clean, smooth shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a long-term Gillette user until my wife brought home a Schick Hydro razor on a whim and I've been using that ever since. Regardless, I was happy to give Gillette another try. I shave every morning in the shower and the Fusion ProGlide manual razor with FlexBall Technology is a decent option. It feels hefty in my hand and provides an ok shave. My skin is smooth after using it, but I have to go over each area multiple times to get a close shave. Also, I'm not sure about the FlexBall technology. It's appealing in theory, but doesn't seem entirely beneficial. I get a closer shave with my Schick razor that doesn't have a FlexBall and don't experience nicks/cuts with either. Jury's still out.... At this time, I'm not won over enough to jump ship from Schick.

I had to give this razor a few tries before I was sure how I felt about it. I have a tough beard on top of sensitive skin, which can make shaving a chore. I would have to say though, that even with the first shave I was pretty impressed. It cuts right through the beard, and did not cut me. A plus is the strip that provides extra lubricating, which seemed to keep me from having razor burn afterward. At first I couldn't really tell that the flexball was doing anything. But then I actually took notice, watched in the mirror, and it really does follow the contours of your face, which I think helps it get a closer cut. This is by far one of the best razors I have tried. They just keep getting better and better. This one is hard to beat. Thanks Gillette for letting me try this product!

The Fusion ProGlide Razor with FlexBall handle technology is nearly a perfect razor. I've used previous versions of the ProGlide razor in the past, and they were good, but adding the FlexBall in the handle makes the difference. My beard hair grows in many diffent directions and so I have to shave from different angles and the FlexBall made it easy and smooth to do so. My only complaint about the razor was that the ProGlide lubricant strip wore out after only two uses. The lubricant strip on previous ProGlide cartridges would last for about a week for me and that was with daily or every other day use. This one wore out in 2 uses. Maybe it was a faulty strip, but that was my only dissapointment with it.
