[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't want to pick on Gillette - I like Gillette. I don't get the super complicated razors though. I received ProGlide Flexball complimentary to try out - thank you very much Gillette - I just don't get it though. I got a good shave with it, but I just don't feel it's any better than my single blade or an electric. When I opened the package and examined the multiple blades, the flex ball, the fancy handle - I was like "wow", this should be the smoothest shave I've ever had. It just wasn't. It was a good shave, no cuts, but it just didn't live up to the promise of greatest that is implied when you put this razor in your hand. So maybe I'm doing it wrong. Holding it wrong, not pressing hard enough against my face - something. I will give Gillette the benefit of the doubt on this as I'm sure they've tested it and retested it and then more exhaustive research prior to releasing it. Bottome line: good shave but not wow'd. The Gillette Fusion Proglide razor does live up to a long line of upgrades and still remains a superior razor to its competition. When used vs. the Mach 3, a very similar close shave is attained. The 5 blades are very smooth, but also seem to wear out much faster and are extremely expensive to replace. It seems the better value would not buy the blades, but continue to find coupons and just buy the razor and use the blades that are included in the package. However when compared with other brands, the Gillette family of razors still dominate for comfort, quality and smoothness of the shave. It's really hard to find a competitor that's even close. It's clear P&G understand what they are doing. Overall, the Fusion Proglide is consistent, smooth, and everything that you'd expect from a Gillette razor.

I was a little apprehensive about using this new razor. I love my Fusion Proglide, and I don't use anything else. I have coarse facial hair, so I didn't know how well it would work for me. I was happily surprised with how well it worked. The ad was correct; it did work better with less passes than my Proglide. I regularly use the new Proglide with Flexball over my old Proglide. It is a great product.

When I thought Gillette couldn't improve their razors, they've suprised me yet again. The Flexball handle helps move the razor, giving me the closest shave yet. Decided it was time to upgrade from my mach 3 razor. Big MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!! not only did the fusion miss a lot of hair, it could not give me a close enough shave as i have gotten with older razors. At first i thought it was the blade but it was a brand new blade. would not recommend it.

This razor has a great feel to it, the grip is perfect for someone even with big hands. It is a little more heavy so it feels like it is of higher quality than many of the other razors that I have tried in the past. I also love the 5 blades. The blades get so close to the skin for a great shave. I definitely will be purchasing this product in the future and will recommend it to a friend too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Given that I have to shave everyday for work, a good razor is a must for me. I also have sensitive skin on my face that prevents me from being able to use just any razor. As for the razor that I received from Gillette, the swivel ball handle works wonders. It's comfortable and getting into those curves and contours on your face can be a pain.. literally, so that extra bit of flexibility is amazing. I'll likely provide another review later on when I get more time with the razor, but for now it has surely replaced my other razor.

I really like this razor because of how close the shave is! I am not sure how much having the flex ball helps because it didn't seem to make much of a difference from my old razor. I do really like the single blade for getting the trim done and them the closeness of the other blades for larger areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to try out the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor because my previous razor was many years old and it was becoming harder to find replacement cartridges for it. Many great things happened that first shave. First off, the FlexBall formed to the ever-changing terrain of my face to give me a clean cut without much force. The comfort strip was rejuvenating and fresh, causing no razor burn or any tough cuts. The only downfall to this razor is that I am afraid to put too much pressure on it because of the FelxBall. This left me without the extremely close shave I am used to, though I feel that once I become more comfortable with the razor I will be more comfortable with putting more pressure onto it.

I have used the regular fusion (not the pro-glide) for several years and have been reasonably happy with it. I received this offer for a free pro-glide razor from Gillette and jumped at the chance for it. My expectations going in was there is no way I will be able to tell a difference in razors. I let myself go for 5 days to really put it to the test. I was surprised on how smooth the shave was. I could definitely tell a difference between the fusion and the pro-glide. The Pro-glide has a very smooth shave with little to no pulling at all. I will definitely choose the pro-glide when razor shopping in the future.
