I used King Gillette's new Trac II blades in 1968 when twice a week was too often. Switched to Pro Glide in 2010 when I met my fiancee & had to shave twice a day when we were going out for a date after work. What a shave! Had winter beards shaved off with a straight-edge blade by my barber back-in-the-day. Pro Glide is AWESOME against the grain. Soon I'll investigate your trimming razor for my thick mustache. Rock on Gillette! My only issue is rinsing the razor more often; that's O.K.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor is so smooth... As promised, the FlexBall Technology follows the contours of your face. In fact, I feel sorry for those who get use to this razor and have to use/barrow something else. Why? Because they are going to expect the same performance from another razor, wack at their face like they normally do, and cut themselves -- BAD! You get so use to the way the blades feel. They "feel-like they bend around the contours of your face". It's hard to believe the way you use to shave with traditional straight handle to blade configurations, you find yourself asking "just how often did I use to cut myself shaving". Plus, you get a really close shave in about 1/2 the time it takes with a traditional handled razor. I've told my buddies at the office about this razor and they don't believe the handle can make that much difference. So I challenged them to check it out. Feedback from their experience to come...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a Fusion ProGlide manual razor with FlexBall for over a year now and have been using it as my backup razor to my vintage Gillette. I normally use a vintage razor for cost reasons. But it takes a lot of time to use a vintage razor and for a very basic shave. I keep the FlexBall around for times when I need a good quick shave with no hassle or going to an event in which a little bit of stubble isn't acceptable. I'm able to get a much closer shave in at least half the time with the FlexBall. The ProGlide cartridges are amazing, and are not that expensive if you can find a deal (just not as cheap as a pack of double bladed razors). If I wasn't so cheap, I'd probably use the FlexBall all the time.

I have used a few very expensive and none of them gave me a close of a shave as the Gillette Fusion ProGlide. This is a great razor, although the blades are a little expensive, I feel that I can use the blades longer, therefore it evens the cost out because I would not have to buy them as ofter=n. All in all a great razor.

Sure, some razors out there have really cheap plastic handles, and this one ISN'T one of those. Yet, I felt it to be nothing spectacular in the terms of distancing itself from the others of today. I mean, everything was fine functionally, but it was just a handle. There's only so much you can do with a razor handle.

The only thing that would stop me from purchasing this razor in the future is the price. I think the cost for both the razor and the refill blades is way to expensive.

So, the test of a good razor for me is can I get a close, comfortable shave without the fear of cuts and nicks, and the razor passed this test. I was happy with the results of the shave. I would say that the razor performed as expected from an advanced cartridge razor. I prefer a razor with some heft to it. It feels like I have more control with a heavier razor. The all over look and feel of the razor was nice, although the ball feels gimmicky to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Fusion Flexball is a fantastic disposable razor system. The fusion heads give an easy smooth shave without roughing up my skin and the Flexball handle noticeably improves the razor's ability to follow the contours of my skin. The Flexball handle seems to twist just enough to keep the cutting surface flat against my face and neck at all times and enhansing its effectiveness. The main reason to get this is for the Flexball handle but the new blade channeling system helps keep excess shave gel from building up. I hope I can purchase this new shaving system in the future without breaking the bank. Great Product.
