I received my free Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor (with "FlexBall" handle technology) from Gillette and put it to work this morning. The result? My skin is as smooth as a baby's butt. I know that sounds kind of cliche, but I actually do have a 3 month old baby at home and her butt really is exceptionally smooth. But I digress. Admittedly, I wasn't blessed with a bountiful wealth of facial hair, but I hadn't shaved in a few days and was a little nervous about shaving off whatever I'd grown out. But this razor did the trick. I didn't really have to go over any spots more than once, which helped prevent any razor burn. And the tougher areas that did require an extra once over felt totally fine afterwards - no irritation, no bleeding. And now almost 12 hours later my skin STILL feels pretty smooth. My only small complaint is that I wish it had a plastic cover for the blade. As it comes it's a large plastic thing that holds blades and the razor all in one which is a little bulky, and the razor doesn't snap in to place on holder well. Also, the whole "FlexBall" thing is nice and sounds great, but it's almost TOO flexible. Going around the chin line I almost wished there was a little more rigidity to it because it bent, or "flexed" too easily. But all that's a really small complaint. The razor itself was awesome and I'd highly recommend it.

I was a little apprehensive about using this new razor. I love my Fusion Proglide, and I don't use anything else. I have coarse facial hair, so I didn't know how well it would work for me. I was happily surprised with how well it worked. The ad was correct; it did work better with less passes than my Proglide. I regularly use the new Proglide with Flexball over my old Proglide. It is a great product.

There is a flexball feature that keeps the razor against your skin at all times, even on hard spots like your chin and neck area. Unlike other razors I have used in the past, the Gillette ProGlide only takes one pass or stroke over an area to get the job done. the blades are thin and fine so sensitive skin people will also like the Gillette ProGlide Razor. If that's not enough, there is also trimmer on the back so you can get precision edging to complete your shave with only one razor. When all said and done the Gillette ProGlide Razor is a great precision razor for any type skin and for a very affordable price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a beard but obviously still need a decent razor for shaping and for my neck and cheeks. This razor works flawlessly. As a matter of fact, one of the reasons I decided to grow a beard, in part, was due to aggravations with shavers and the cost of them. This is a nice, sold razor that is reasonably priced.

I have been using this razor for many years now. I still own the older 3 blades MACH razors. I find the ProGlide to have just a slight better performance than its 3 blade predecessor. The single blade on opposite side of cartridge is handy and performs well on tight areas or where precision is needed. I still find my old MACH to be just as good but the ProGlide cost about the same so I buy cartridges for the newer often. I do not find the ProGlide to give a closer shave than the MACH 3. My only con with the Fusion series is cost. It is way overpriced.

Overall impressed with the FlexBall razor that I received as a trial through BzzAgent. The shave was close but did take a little getting used to the shifting blade. Other blades from Gillette also fit this razor. For only a couple bucks more its totally worth it.

Today there are several various razors on the market with each promoting some type of patented technology on the razors and/or blades, but in the end, they are mostly the same. But I am now testing the ProGlide. At first, I was nervous trying it. When shaving my face and neck, I want something I have 100% control of, not something that sways to the left or right on it's own. But to my surprise, this razor is quite nice. It does move, and it moves with the shape of your face and the movement of your hand. Pretty decent shave after a couple weeks of use. I just replaced the blade, so blade life is about 10 - 14 days (depending on person's hair). The prices on the blades are fair at Wal-Mart. After using this blade for a couple of weeks, I'm used to it and now will use it as my primary razor.

I was very impressed by this product. I had to tell a few friends about it because it left my face so smooth after I used it. When I thought Gillette couldn't improve their razors, they've suprised me yet again. The Flexball handle helps move the razor, giving me the closest shave yet. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new razor
