[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a long time user of the Gillette brand of razors. I have been using the Fusion razors for the last few years and wasn't sure they could improve on the product. I have to say that the Proglide has done it. The slight movement as I cross over the chin and down my neck makes for a very smooth shave and less irritation. I have been using the same blade for almost a month and it feels as smooth as a new blade out of the package. Nothing feels as good as a brand new blade, so this has been an enjoyable plus. The improvements are all on the margin, but like I said I wasn't sure how they would make the Fusion better.

I wanted to know how great this razor was and how smooth it shaved. If you are curious about this razor I recommend it. Its a really great razor that shaves completely and smoothly. Its like no other. People should want the Gillette ProGlide because of how smooth it shaves. I cant express it more. Its a great razor. I used it wit a bar of soap my first time an it was still smooth. The second time i used it with shaving cream an the smoothness was the same.

When I shave, its usually with an electric because I usually break out like I was a teenager. I have tried all types of lotions, creams gels and after shave products, but never had much success until I used the Fusion Proglide. Gilette actually sent me a sample. I was skeptical at first, but I used it twice and my face was as smooth as it has ever been, and I never broke out. It was great to not have to go back over any spots and I still have the same cartridge on my razor 2 weeks later!

I used this razor the last couple of mornings and was pleasantly surprised on how smooth the shave was. I have sensitive skin and it was no problem. Being in the military I am required to shave daily when at work and this razor has given me the smoothest shave I can remember.

Since I have started shaving over 20 plus years ago I have yet to find that Holy Grail of ultimate closeness and no skin irritation. The new Fusion ProGlide manual razor with FlexBall Technology I was hoping to be my savior. But as it turns out after several shaves it performs no better than my Gillette Fusion. The attached pictures show my face after a shave with the new razor and then one with my old one. Can you see a difference? I am not very convinced that the swivel of the ball helps any. It does look cool and space aged, but that is all I got out of it. I could feel the shave head moving and pivoting as I shaved but it did not seem to do any better or worse that my non-flexball razor. So I am giving this 3 stars as it did the same job as my current Gillette razor. I think that the idea of this type of razor was a good one, maybe it worked for other people. But my experience was a less than positive one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette has always made great razors. I ended up buying this razor b/c I accidently bought refills for this instead of the regular fusion. The regular Fusion is better, but I still like my ProGlide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My face looked like a baby's bottom thanks to this razor. No nicks, no cuts, no fuss. I don't think the rotating head did too much, but I can't complain, it cuts clean, and its lubricating lining works like a charm!

He feel in love with and really wished I had gotten a coupon for it but has really encouraged me to get coupons when they come in the newspaper. He said that he has never used a razor that he didn't have to work at shaving his thick beard hair off. Other razors he has used in the pass he has had to shave twice to get a clean shave and not with gillette profusion. Awesome product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to give this razor one more chance, and it still did not do a good job like I expected it to do. I do not care for FlexBall handle. I would have thought it would have made it easier to shave my neck and those hard to reach places like under around my nose. It made it more difficult because I could not hold the razor steady enough to get in the nooks and crannies. Oh well, at least I got to try it thanks to Gillette!
