What a differance a blade can make. I thought the razor I used for years gave me a close, clean, and comfortable shave. But all that changed after I used the new Gillete Fusion Proglide I have to admit, that the new Proglide is the best razor, I have ever bought since I started shaving over 40 years ago. That is why I will say it again What a differance a blade can make.

I understand Gilette is always trying to be the latest and greatest (and they do quite well at it), but I really fail to see the difference between this product and practically any other razor I've used. Is it better than a disposable razor? Yes, absolutely. Is it better than a much cheaper, mail order alternative? I don't think so. Also, it's a little frightening when you open the package to the razor and are immediately greeted with a $5 off coupon for blades. This shows me that 1) They know you'll need them soon and 2) They are overpriced.

The multi razor with gel strip easily glides over my skin without tugging or pulling whiskers. The gel strip helps to leave my skin hydrated after the blades give me a very close shave. The FlexBall allows me to shave more surface area without having to worry about the blades cutting at the wrong angle. This saves me time in the morning. It has been 9 hours since I have shaved with my ProGlide and my skin feels like I just shaved. I usually have noticeable stubble by now. I love the Fusion ProGlide Razor with FlexBall Technology and will continue to use it as long as I can. This razor is definitely a good value for the money. Before I buy a razor, I'm most concerned about how close of a shave it delivers. I can personally say the the Gillette Fusion Proglide razor with FlexBall Technology gives tough beards like mine a close shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: The swivel joint on this razor makes shaving twice as easy. It really helps the razor maneuver to every hard to reach spot on your face. Gillette also has the best razor blades in my opinion. They stay sharp and effective for a very long time which, minimizes cost in terms of having to buy new razors. The grips on the razor help maintain a firm grip to reduce the risk of cutting your skin. Cons: It was really hard to find anything I did not like about this razor except for the price of purchasing new razors. In the other hand, your paying for quality, so its understandable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like getting bzzagent campaigns for razors. The Fusion Proglide manual razor was no exception. It contours to the shape of my face nicely. No knicks and no irritations. I use a manual once a week and an electric razor 2-3 times a week. The handle and the shape of the razor itself is well designed. Truthfully, the handle isn't something that is a huge preference for me, it doesn't matter. The price of this razor is reasonable and comparable to other razors. The quality is good and better than the bic cheapy disposables.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the closeness of those razor. I expected it to do the same job that my Gillette sensor excel does but his was so much better! Very close shave without having to shave twice in any given area. Thumbs up.

With all of the moving this razor does, it makes it very difficult to get a close and concise shave. I am not impressed with this and will stick to my Gillette fixed head razor instead.

I usually use the Mach 3 razor and was skeptical that I would like the 5 blade since I've tried them and the past and been disappointed. I even gave my wife the $5 coupon to get me some more refills but I was appalled when I found out they are $20 for a package of 4. As much as I like them, I will not be purchasing anymore because of the cost.

When I received the Gillette Fusion Proglide I was surprised how well the pivoting ball worked. I noticed that it was far superior at getting every hair per stroke and I didn't have to go back for those stray hairs that the cheaper razors seem to always miss at some point. I am very impressed by this razor and will definitely buy replacement blades when the time comes. This razor would make a perfect stocking stuffer for men or women at Christmas!
